Bob, Thanks for the post. I am like several others who chose LN as a way to support development efforts and use new features before they were offered in a package. When I renewed this year, I wasn't thinking about a 6 week release cycle but about the features that I would likely use this year. If the lowest offering had the Sermon Editor and a few other

I've had several Indian co-workers and find that they are every bit as knowledgeable and hard-working as my American counterparts. As long as the call center is able to answer questions and service my account, I don't have a problem with outsourcing.

I started taking a look at this feature and the newsletter feature this week. There's a few quirks to it, but I was able to generate a bulletin. I'd like to see the newsletter and bulletin feature merged e.g., add verses to the newsletter, add prayer requests to the bulletin. The primary issue I have with both are the errors on saving and the failure

You convinced me, I'm in. Thanks!

I found a few commentaries that addressed this in Ex. 21.6 Keil & Delitzsch says that it is the place of judgment given in the name of God. Durham in Word Biblical Commentary gives several citations from the 1930's onward that explain why "judges" is not used in several recent translations. Osborn & Hatton in the UBS Handbook state that the context
...you could take advantage of the underutilized, powerful word and phrase concordance that you have had at your fingertips since L4.
Thanks MJ, I took a glance at this feature a couple of years ago and never realized its potential. Your tips and help are greatly appreciated!
The preference is currently (and incorrectly) stored as a "local only" preference, meaning that it doesn't sync to your other computers (or persist after reinstalling). This is a bug we plan to fix in an upcoming release.
I actually would prefer it to remain a local preference. I like it on my laptop

There are 4 of his sermons taken from "Strength to Love" in A Treasury of Great Preaching, Vol. 12 . The titles are: "The Answer to a Perplexing Question", "How Should a Christian View Communism?", "The Man who was a Fool", and "Shattered Dreams".

The second is included in the first according to the sidebar on the page.

I believe it's highlighted because it's part of the recommended reading for the NT221 course which are marked as highlighted sections within the commentary with start and stop reading plan markers. Since this course was offered through Community Pricing, there are several of us who inherited the highlights.
I'm coming up with a system where it doesn't matter what version of the resource you own. I hope to have this functional within two months. I know it doesn't solve the problem today but we're working on it.
The complexities of having multiple versions and linking to it are understandable. Glad to hear that you

The publishing landscape is changing quickly, sites like Amazon (and Logos) add a lot of value in creating environments for review and discussion which ends up being free marketing for the publishers. The publishers don't seem to want to place any value on those additions. About the only constant in publishing today is the need for good editors. I'm

I'd like to see a larger selection too. The first book mentioned is in the College Press Biblical Studies Collection and is offered individually too.
What does "eke" mean, please!?? Can't figure it out although I love Olde English, eh?! Or, at least I think I do! *smile*
Found this site that says it is obsolete for "also", http://www.etymonline.com/index.php?term=eke

When looking at the chart , it is describing the people during the cycles of each judge and not the judges themselves. All three of these expressions are borrowed from v. 12. However, to express the downward spiralling of Israelite faith and conduct, the narrator adds a significant clause: they refused to drop any of their impious actions, or their
I know that they continue to work on the Biblical Facts databases.
I was a bit hasty, I'm looking forward to the 4.6 release.
We expect to update the Hosea diagram and a few other errors with the 4.6 update.
Sean, thanks for the response. I'm looking forward to the update!

It doesn't seem to be editable or maintained. A correction was sent in over two years ago about Hosea's children.
