• Truncated Notes export

Is there a limit to the export of Notes? I went through the steps to export all my notes of Genesis by reference. The Export dialog predicted 292 pages; actual pages in Word document: 395. The document contained all my notes from Genesis 1:1 to Genesis 22, I was hoping to get the range Genesis 37-50, the Joseph narrative. If there is a size limit, is

  • Null highlight/note data

I accidentally discovered that if I highlight text, then un-highlight it, a record remains in the table that has neither a note nor a highlight flag. How to reproduce this: 1. Click and drag in a Bible verse to select some text. 2. You will see the highlight dialog popup. 3. Select a highlight color. 4. Click somewhere else to see the colored highlight

  • Re: Highlight - Repeat

Correct. The developers use a completely separate method for highlighting with a note. The (restricted) highlight pallette is on the menu bar at the top of each note.

Hats off to the developers who traced down this but and eliminated it. Way to go!
Over a year later and many maintenance updates later and still nothing, and no comment. Has this issue been lost over time?
It means that the folks who write this software are not using it. Otherwise it would have been fixed long ago.

You're gonna love this: If the current Note is closed (click on the three vertical bullets in the upper-right corner of the note to see how), then when you export, you get the whole load.

  • Re: Printing notes with anchors

Hello, Jonathan: The solution gets stickier if you have anchored a Note to more than one Bible reference. Which reference do you to show with the Note? To see all Notes for a Notebook, open the Bible that has Notes attached to it. In the Notes panel, make sure the Filters panel is open. If not, click the "Hamburger" icon (three horizontal lines). Click

I just noticed that the cursor is visible in my Notes panel where Logos operates in a secondary monitor. Is this just me, or has a changed to Windows or Logos fixed the problem?

  • SUGGESTION: Inspired Imperfection by Gregory Boyd

Inspired Imperfection by Greg Boyd Gleason Archer’s Encyclopedia of Biblical Difficulties tries to explain the booboos. Could there be a simpler explanation? How many preachers do you know that would survive a criticism of Bible inerrancy? What, exactly, does “God-breathed” (2 Timothy 3:16) mean? If we assume that a perfect God would
I, too, have the latest Win10 version 1909 update and the cursor does not show up on the second monitor in notes and in certain fields in the Sermon Editor. The problem in notes is annoying but you can still add notes. You just have to click and type, hoping you clicked in the right place before typing away. [/quote

I forgot to mention that even when Win10 was updated to version 1909 and all the latest hotfixes were installed, the problem (no cursor in second monitor) still was not fixed. Sorry.

You're right about Win10 being out of date. The strange part is that whenever I checked for latest updates, Windows said I was up-to-date. Now it is. Unfortunately, updating Windows did not fix the missing-cursor problem. [sigh] Do you have any other steps I might take?
We are still investigating this issue. In the meantime, Microsoft has released KB4534132 with the following release note: Addresses incorrect width of the text-insertion caret in TextBox et al., when the system DPI exceeds 96. In particular, the caret rendered nothing on a monitor with lower DPI than the primary

Suggestion: Is there someone in the Bellingham Washington area having this problem so that a software engineer from Faithlife can pay a visit to debug it on-site? (Nothing beats hands-on. I once chased a problem like this for a year before discovering the obscure setting that caused it.)
