When I look at the date on public Notebooks, the dates are not current. Are these notebooks updated as the author makes changes to them?

Hello, Michael: I use several kinds of indenting in the Notes tool. First, there in the Outdent and Indent tools at the top of the Note panel: Second, if you use the Numbering tool to make numbered paragraphs (1. 2. 3.), you can indent subparagraphs using the Indent tool to achieve a result like this: 1. Paragraph a. subparagraph b. subparagraph 2.
That is how I made all of my tables, but what happens if you have to make changes or delete some? It sounds like a lot of trouble to me. My option. God Bless Danny
True. That's why they are called workarounds.

I already suggested this in the Logos user feedback site. Long ago. Does the Logos consider that feedback when fixing/adding functionality? (As a retired software engineer, I realize how hard it is to keep up with the wish lists of users.)

Some expandable lists have a Collapse All button. The table of contents for Bibles does not. Once parts of the contents are expanded, only chapter numbers are visible, making it difficult to find the next book you want to jump to. The code exists. It's just a cut-and-paste to fix this.

My workaround is to make a table in Word, formatted the way I want it, then take a screenshot as a JPG. Now that we can insert graphics into Notes, just insert the picture into the notes. Its exact format will be preserved.
I appreciate the confirmation that someone else out there has run into this issue also. At this juncture, I wonder if FaithLife is going to respond. ~ch
When I try to reproduce the issue, I cannot see what you see. Even complex text (indented paragraphs, bullet lists) are reproduced correctly. I'm sorry that I cannot help

The new Dark Mode is a wonderful relief for my old eyes. Existing text that was added in the DEFAULT color now shows up as white on the dark background. Many recently-added text to notes are in BLACK black text instead of DEFAULT. When the black text is viewed in dark mode, it is practically invisible until found and edited to turn it back to default

Logos on my phone was taking forever to start, then forever to move from one screen to the next. I chanced upon the Logos page https://www.logos.com/account/devices and learned that I had downloaded the mobile app into my phone four times. After deleting all entries but the one that showed both the Logos and Faithlife icons, response of the app was

I'm looking for a Logos product that has Hebrew-English interlinear OLD TESTAMENT ONLY. I can hear you asking, "What on earth would you want with THAT?" I want to create a series ("My Hebrew Search") that includes both LHI and this phantom Bible so that when I search for a Hebrew lemma, the result would show matching verses in both Hebrew and English

Aha! I always find ways to mess it up the first time. For lurkers: Launching a course via Tools > Reference > Courses opens up a window with the Syllabus. Clicking a link for a lecture opens a panel with a video launcher and the transcript below. Click the launcher to open a panel with the video.
-
I was watching the first video of Course OT300 and somehow caused another panel to open with printed text of the video--very handy. This is both faster than listening to the video, and allows me to highlight key points. When I started the second in the series, I could not find a way to open the transcript panel. I'm hoping that each lecture has a transcript

Hello, Doc: I tried changing settings for the program, Notes, and the Bible text, trying to duplicate your report, without success. I always see references in the exported Notes. What you are seeing has to be a setting. I'm sorry I did not find it for you. Jack

Yes. That is the logic I was hoping for.

Is there a limit to the export of Notes? I went through the steps to export all my notes of Genesis by reference. The Export dialog predicted 292 pages; actual pages in Word document: 395. The document contained all my notes from Genesis 1:1 to Genesis 22, I was hoping to get the range Genesis 37-50, the Joseph narrative. If there is a size limit, is

Oh Philana... Would you consider this behavior a bug? Thanks for looking into it.

Caution: Blind typist, no proof reader...

I accidentally discovered that if I highlight text, then un-highlight it, a record remains in the table that has neither a note nor a highlight flag. How to reproduce this: 1. Click and drag in a Bible verse to select some text. 2. You will see the highlight dialog popup. 3. Select a highlight color. 4. Click somewhere else to see the colored highlight
-
Correct. The developers use a completely separate method for highlighting with a note. The (restricted) highlight pallette is on the menu bar at the top of each note. The reason has to be that a highlight is stored in a record exactly like a note. A note record cannot point to itself.

Hats off to the developers who traced down this but and eliminated it. Way to go!
