I have one I'm not seeing in any status. The Wordsearch Book ID is 0:1594. The corresponding Logos resource can be seen here: https://www.logos.com/product/6634/wesleyan-bible-commentary-romans
you can access them in the web app, your Library in Logos 8 shows them downloaded, but when you open them in Logos 8 it says you don't have a license?
I was seeing this behavior with the newly "available" ebooks last night, but they downloaded overnight, and are accessible now on the desktop.
the changeover from Wordsearch Deluxe will only get me Logos Basic?
I'm not sure what you mean by "Wordsearch Deluxe". Since they eliminated the functionally-limited free versions a while back (i.e. Wordsearch Basic, or Bible Explorer before that), there has only been one level of Wordsearch. It cost about $40. You could spend

Richard - try taking another look for these:
Good News Translation® (Today's English Version, Second Edition) Copyright © 1992 American Bible Society
This came over for me, but it is not called TEV in Logos, it's GNT.
It is the revised edition that is commonly linked to in Logos software,
This can be a bit confusing, because the older edition is called the Revised Edition. Just for additional context, I did a search at the link above of the new titles coming over from the Wordsearch catalog for resources with the word "orthodox" in the title, and got zero hits. When searching for "catholic" in the title, I got one hit: Missions: Sharing the Good News with Roman Catholic Friends, Church Starting Network So, there you go

  • Re: Resources from Wordsearch of interest to Catholics(?)

I settled on Wordsearch as my first electronic Bible Study platform many years ago (early 1990s) largely because it had Catholic-friendly resources - during those early years, I had the NAB, NJB, and NRSV to go along with the standard KJV+Strongs+TSK basic tool set. However, there has been a lot of water under the bridge (and numerous ownership changes

I've been a Wordsearch user for almost 30 years (since 1991), and a Logos user since 2003, and I'm more or less happy to see this. It's not exactly how I expected Wordsearch to go out, but it's probably the best-case scenario, at least for someone in my position. It will be a welcome treat to have both libraries combined into the Logos platform - both

Hi TL, I wish you well in your new role with Verbum. Although I rarely post in the forums, I've been a Logos user since 2003, and appreciate the Logos/Verbum/Faithlife staff making themselves directly available to the user community like this. thanks, John

MJ, that’s a pretty comprehensive list. There are a few I could add or elaborate on. Working backwards… (2015) New Catholic Version (NCV) New Testament, as mentioned below by Deacon Steve. I note it here to affirm that it does indeed have an imprimatur & nihil obstat. A rescript approving publication is recorded from the Catholic Bishops

Richard, thank you very much for this nifty utility. I need to remind myself to re-run it every now and again to refresh with new resources. I noticed what appeared to be a few tagging errors in the PBB resource after I rebuilt, which I figured I'd pass along. The first one was missing a closing bracket: "Jn 20:29 [[Parochial and Plain Sermons >>

Liturgical Press has now released a single-volume edition of the NCBC , and with new leadership on the Faithlife Verbum team , this might be a good time to revisit this thread. The $160 Pre-Pub pricing for a 25-volume amalgam doesn't seem very tenable for this lightweight commentary, but it doesn't appear any progress was made over the past couple years
