I would like to find all Preaching Themes in a Passage, then all Intersections of the Passage with those Themes for each Preaching Theme. But I want to be able to do that for both Bibles and/or Articles in my Library. Sometimes I would just want to find all Articles Mentioning all of these Preaching Themes. Só, I thought a little bit and observed

What ever your decision, never buy Celeron - it will bottle neck. AMD was always better with mathematical processing on lower power consumption. I don't know about the new Ryzen though. I used AMD in the past for programming purposes. Intel is better if you don't have a dedicated Graphics Card and don't mind about power consumption. In the past Intel

  • Automatic tagging in Workflow for Question/Answer specified by the designer of the Workflow

The purpose for doing this is endless. A Workflow can have sub-points. If for example the sub-point is "genre", the designer of the workflow can specify a "genre" tag for all answers.

  • Discovered a Frustratingly Cool Trackpad Behavior

I discovered an interesting feature on my laptop. When I sweep my three fingers over the mousepad to the left or right then I scroll the morph search through the history forward and backward. I didn't test it anywhere else. However, the same is not possible with a wireless mouse. I have never noticed it before because I only work with a wireless mouse

  • Re: How do one find all people within the genealogy (NT) within the OT?

It would be a powerful addition to Search capabilities if the search results, not the returned section, the highlighted part, could be sent to another panel as a query or be the result of such a query. Even the ability to export datatypes to a Word List and use fields from that Word List in a Query. Sample : <Person (<LogosMorphGr = NGSM> INTERSECTS
Swanson reflects on the question of simply adopting for a Hebrew lexicon the semantic domains developed by Louw and Nida for Greek
Steve, this is why I asked the question, because Swanson did not create a complete new work. I give 10 votes for the suggestion to get sdhb into Logos.

  • How do one find all people within the genealogy (NT) within the OT?

I want to list all References in the Bible for all People from a NT genealogy. If this could end up in Analysis view it would be great. If there is a listing somewhere that have this result it would also help. The initial query for all People in NT genealogy: <Louw Nida 93.1–93.388> WITHIN {Section <LiteraryTyping = Genealogy>} Do

Thanks Graham, I discovered the problem by studying your screenshots. My Septuagint Translation's default did not work properly. After I prioritized the resource the default was fixed. Don't know why, but it helped. Thanks

  • Re: Are Semantic Roles in Clause Participant in Bible Word Study a summary?

I figured out why I got confused between the counts of Clause Participants and a Search. When one do a clause search for example "person:Boaz" it finds Boaz in any column in a Search. I was not specific enough in my analysis, my mistake. The problem with Word Study is as follow image indicate: I can't see the difference between listings?

  • Are Semantic Roles in Clause Participant in Bible Word Study a summary?

Can anyone confirm that the Semantic Roles in the Clause Participants Section on the Bible Word Study Guide contain a summary for each semantic role and that a search is needed to find the actual result for each Semantic Role? If this is correct, does anyone know if the summary carries specific relevant information or are it just a random selection

  • Re: Graphing Search Results

I can confirm that in The Apostolic Fathers Greek-English I can't find a Graph button in Morph Search. Suppose this is true in the Hebrew also. The solution would be to export your results to Excel and add a Graph according to your liking. 1) With your Search Panel active, Press Ctrl+P (Win) or Cmd+P (Mac) 2) With Export Panel active at the far right

With a little tweaking you'll find the correct balance between Sermon Editor and PDF Printer settings. Change the PDF Page size

I've been using Logos for almost 26 years. To my shame, I discovered the wonderful column-freezer in the search panel today. Maybe you knew about it all along, or maybe there's something you don't know yet. I just ask myself, why didn't anyone ever told me? What other little hideouts do you know about or you think you don't know about? I dragged this
For what purpose would you want this list?
When I give a Bible Study Group 500 verses they fear the Bible, when I give them 20 Passages, they explore the possibilities with love. It's just to serve with wisdom. I believe everyone that find a purpose would enjoy the possibility of doing this.
