I agree. Also, I thought it was funny/clever. To be specific, the allusion here is to an event--as @Darrell wrote--one that is long awaited. It does not imply any kind of equivalence between this book and the Son of Man whose return all of us here eagerly await, even while were are preparing to celebrate His birth! There some irony there, isn't there

Yes, with note-anchors, you have to add all the verses you wanted to reference in the note. So, are you seeking a feature that would enable users to create a rule within a note that would then automatically tag other verses that meet the rule criteria? If so, how would that work (not from a technical standpoint, but what would the feature look like
-
Any reason you can't use multiple anchors to achieve this?
-
Oh, yes. I see that. Yes, I agree this would be helpful to have fixed!
-
You can add a lemma as an anchor point now. Is that different from what you are talking about?
-
Don and Dave - Thank you both.

Excellent! I just upgraded to the new version. It also looks like the new version fixed the bug I had where Logos had to be force-quit on exit and would not terminate normally

Are we still able to create URL links inside Logos notes/favorites to files on our computer? I thought I knew the answer to this, but I am not finding it. Thanks.

Todd:
We can look at increasing that term count in an upcoming beta.
it looks like this increase made it into 8.13.0 (17) beta. THANK YOU!

On mobile, it would be nice if we could make and use L4 links. I have lots of cross references in my notes to other notes, but I can’t follow those cross-refs on mobile.

Lots of good discussions on the Personal Book issue and PDFs. I think I could live without being able to import PDFs and even live without personal books if the clippings tool could be improved to allow you to clip outside resources. And, if you could tag clippings so they would appear in Topic guides, the Factbook, etc. that would address my needs

Yes, this problem only seems to occur when you pin the concordance to the top.
-
I think Logos 9 should also fix this. Not the tool, the hanging "e."
One main problem for PDF files is that some are just pictures of text. Yes, maybe they could be converted but only as page after page of pictures of text. And thus, not searchable
There's not actually a problem here, though. Tools that make PDFs text searchable are easy to get hold of and do a pretty good job. Moreover

I am very happy with Logos 8, and I agree that further improvements and refinements (particularly to datasets and tools that are already available) is the most important focus. As for specifics, there are so many great suggestions on these pages that I like, I will try to distinguish those suggestions to which I wanted to add my agreement with the ones

I am experiencing a strange problem, but maybe I just have something configured wrong. I have a series of notes that are anchored to a specific Bible verse (reference, not text selection). The note flags appear at the anchored reference location but they also appear at the beginning of the chapter. What’s weird is this is not happening in some

I am observing a frequent but intermittent crash of logos when I change a note icon. It happens several times a day but usually does not happen repeatedly after a crash. I am using Logos on macOS Catalina. Logos Ver: 8.13.0.0008 Catalina: 10.15.4 (19E287)

Thanks, Daniel. That’s helpful.

Thank you, Todd. This now makes perfect sense. Another tag that I could not find recently started showing up. I thought, perhaps, there was some kind of indexing that was going on in the background. But, it started showing up after I added a few more notes with that tag. It probably crossed over into that 30 cap. I understand your rationale in the design

Sadly, that may speak volumes about the quality of the description that I provided. :)
