John, Welcome! Books do not have to be indexed to show in the library and for you to open them. Open up the library panel and see if you can find the books in the library. If not then I suspect that you have two accounts at logos. If will take a call to customer service to merge them into one.
the idea of dropping my 'hidden' resources into a 'missions' bin.
Sounds like the proverbial "shipment of used tea bags sent to support missions." In many regards resource needs on the mission field are the same as those who sent the missionaries. What is needed on the mission field are good solid Bible reference
avoided phone charges by using Skype. but I don't know anything worthwhile about that app.
Skype is very worthwhile! I use it when traveling or staying in places without reasonable long distance service. Of course you need to have internet access, but if you are using Logos then you probably do. Skype has been around

MJ, Much of my work in Alaska is with people from the Alaskan Moravian Church. Many of the people use the Daily Text.

Have you chosen a preferred Bible? My work links work all the time.
I would love to see a journal function within Logos 4. .... When can we have it?
I think you already have a way to do this. Build a personal book with Microsoft Word using year-month-day milestones ([[@ymd.2011.5.23]] ). Put an shortcut on the short cut bar to quickly open your journal. Rebuild your journal on occasion

I too am late in replying. More and more of the Eskimo "national pastors" are getting and using Logos 4. Some run it on a "net book computer." They get online update when they are in the central trading city by using the WiFi at the seminary, the public library or some other place. The seldom really need to update since they are not actively buying

Here is a list of Spanish Collections from Logos.
Do I need to purchase it?
Yes. You might want to call Logos Sales. There are Spanish collections that will have Spanish Bibles. That may be the least expensive way to go, especially if you might use any other Spanish resources.
author:(morey,geisler,schaeffer)
Of course not all Geisler's works are apologetics. His General Introduction to the Bible being one of them. I think the easiest, maybe the fastest, and definitely most reliable way to do this to scan down through your library and tag the books you want to be in your apologetics
we do sometimes leave our brain with the usher upon entering the church and this is especially true here in Kenya where people are taught not to question "the man of God". Power is so important to people here and it often overshadows critical thinking.
And in many places critical thinking is so important that we
After all, why should we listen to a humble missionary like this when he contradicts such "spiritual giants".
Sean, I face the same thing where I work bush Alaska. Our solution there has been to all but require the students at the school to get Logos. I We are part of the academic program at Logos, and we work hard

I find this true in many resources. A lot linkable things are not linked, or link to the top of a page instead of to the place on the page. Hopefully these will be later enhancements. My guess is that it takes a lot of hand work to make all these connections.
