- Leviticus, Anchor Yale (got his condensed commentary in Continental Series) - Luke, 2 vols, Anchor Yale - John, 2 vols, Anchor Yale - Acts, 2 vols, ICC - Romans, Anchor Yale
I would say these are worth having. They are excellent in their critical engagement with the text and also quite good on matters of background. Cliff

  • Re: Best Commentaries Sale: Does Not Correspond to Bestcommentaries.com

Having a site like Bestcommentaries.com rate commentaries is like have a site called bestbottledwater.com rate bottle water. You ask 100 people which is the best and you get a 100 different and rather pointless suggestions. Cliff

  • Re: I would like to add the New Testament Studies journal from Cambridge Univ. Press to my Logos library.

Just to be sure, are you willing to pay roughly $200 for 4 issues? The likely hood of Cambridge bringing their price down just for Logos is slim to none. The whole area of journals and pricing is insane! The organizations that control the publishing rights for journals have shown no desire to lower the cost, even while the push for open access has gained
I don't have the resource. What indexes does it have?
This resource does not have an index for OTP vol 1 (and OPT vol 1, Alternative texts). OTP vol 2 does have an index, but it still does the same thing as above. As for adding readings manually, I really do not want to have to add a year's worth of reading individually

  • Generate Reading Plan

Is it not possible to generate a reading plan for Charlesworth's OTP? I have tried to select "Generate a Reading Plan" but it only seems to generate one day of reading while leaving the remaining days empty with no readings. Is there anyone else who has experienced this issue before? Cliff

  • Re: NA28 without Apparatus problem
In communication with Logos sales, I was told that the publisher will not allow the apparatus to be sold separately. I then discovered that—with dynamic pricing— Stuttgart Scholarly Editions: New Testament was less expensive. Still, this seems to run counter to Logos' long-standing promise that we would never be required

  • Re: Audio books will not maintain speed
When listening to an audio book (a mobile Ed audio version), I like to listen at 1.5x speed. When one chapter is finished and it forwards to the next one, it goes back to 1x. However, the little speed indicator still reads as 1.5x. Can this be fixed so that the set speed will be maintained across chapter breaks? Thanks.

Alabama, It was what did it for me. I had no option for turning on or off the note file in settings, so that was not what did it for me. Not only could I not highlight, I could not even select a text to begin with. And by text, I mean a single word. Cliff

  • Re: EEC for 2017

One other thing to consider in the whole venture is the time it takes to edit. For example, Lexham has outside editors who work through the manuscript with the author. These editors all have full-time jobs of their own, with many of them having writing projects of their own that they are working on. This will also slow the process down if they have

Mike, I cannot comment on your projection of customers being a nuisance, since I have not received that type of response from my interactions with them. I do not want to downplay your experiences if this is the case. I do want to ask though: what publisher (again, I am only referring to Lexham here specifically) has a forum where you can offer suggestions
