He is also the author of a two-volume commentary on Hebrews that needs to be reprinted and translated to English. But that is another story altogether.
I posted in the Android section but it looked as if no one there so I have posted here. I plan to purchase a new phone so I can use L4 on it. Which phone (brand) seems to be ahead with L4 software? My choice is narrowed down to two: Iphone or Droid. In the Droid line which one (name like X, incredible, bonic, etc.) would
I was hoping some of you with more experience & expertise could outline your preferences for LSJ vs. BDAG . Is one better? Why? Are these really competitive resources or complementary resources? Does one have an advantage for use with Perseus . Thanks for your insight. Joe
Joe, BDAG and LSJ are best used together.
Tes, For direct Bible study the resources may have somewhat limited usefulness. However, if you use Greek in your Bible study, there are linguistic resources such as Gildersleeve's Syntax of Classical Greek and Goodwin's Syntax of the Moods and Tenses of the Greek Verb. The Blass Debrunner Funk grammar which is already
I am about to begin a sermon series under the heading “do not despise the discipline of God”, in which I will begin this series from Hebrews 12:5-11 . Wanted to know if anybody within the Logos community could suggest some excellent resources on the book of Hebrews that I may be overlooking. Thank you for your help in

That was my second guess. In light of Dan's remarks about Loeb, TLG might be a good guess. Cliff

You might need to have some one go back and take a look at the author descriptions for this page. They have the wrong authors under the wrong books. Cliff

Paul, No Beta run here. I tend to stay away from Alpha, Beta, Gamma... I do not know much about computers, so I stick with stable releases for the most part. Cliff

Richard, Thanks for the response. I think I fixed the problem. I downloaded the the .exe again from my account page and hit the repair button. That seems to have fixed the problem, as Logos is up and running. Sorry to jump the gun before I tried this. Cliff

Like you mentioned, we as users are building a library for personal study. We can pick what we want to buy
