Hi, I get this bug when reading more than one day's worth of my reading plan. It'll change to a random language - either in the Reading Plan pane itself, or as the generated title above. See pictures for examples.

I was recently listening to an interview with Michael Bird about this series. In it, he mentions that they filmed two video series - one aimed at university-level students, another aimed at small / home groups. Which of these video series is included in this collection? Or does it include both series? Thanks in advance for any answers!

That's a much better price! Thank you! I'm glad I held off on buying the individual items a bit.

I was looking for a resource today that covers the Apocrypha and Pseudepigrapha of the OT - mostly because I don't like having so many broken links in all my resources. :) I found ' The Apocrypha and Pseudepigrapha of the Old Testament in English ' by RH Charles, selling for $250. However, when you look at the individual books in the package, you can

Experience: I've built about 4 computers at my workplace in the last couple of years, and been the 'purchasing manager' on deciding which high-end laptops to get some engineers. For Logos: 8-16 GB ram, M.2 drive big enough for the OS and your Logos library. The M.2 drive is essential, everything else is optional. The m.2 drives are 4-8x faster than

I'm really not liking the new homepage UI. I'm finding that it has much reduced readability and usefulness compared to the previous version. I'm also not a fan of the 'ads' which take up 80% of the homepage. The default homepage layout is: 1. 'Featured' - giant ad. 2. 'Store' - Many smaller ads. The first of which is the same as the giant ad above,
If you buy Ultimate , which includes all the traditions, you automatically get Peter's Pearly Gate Precheck with much shorter lines. hmm, I don't seem to have that option:

Yes, I've had a look at the V8 sets, but I'm not finding them compelling. I honestly don't think I'll use the extra features, and all the packages which have an increase in resources that I find attractive are out of my price range.

Hi all, I was given a generous birthday gift of some cash specifically to buy some Logos resources, and I'm looking for some suggestions on what to spend it on.I have a budget of ~$130 (though I'm happy to add my own money to it, so say $200 max). About me: armchair theologian, evangelical, my current collection is approximately at 'bronze' level. There

I've noticed recently that the Android app requests my location. This begs the following questions: Why does it do this? Does it request the 'low-accuracy' or 'high-accuracy' location? Does Faithlife keep this location data? If so, for how long?
-
I find that the app opens reasonably quickly on my Fire HD 8". It tends to bog down when you've used a lot of different programs - it has to clean up some memory on some of the older programs first before it can open up the new program you've selected. I find a full reboot every week tends to keep the Fire working at an acceptable speed.

As I see it, the main problem with L4 is that you can't back-up your own licence. If Logos were to go down, there's no-way you can correctly activate your L4 installation, and then go into 'offline mode'. For that reason, I like to keep a copy of my L3 licences somewhere safe. That way, if Logos were to ever die in the distant future, I could just reinstall
It must have been one of those things that isn't that costly to produce and didn't have many people signed up for it to begin with, so just a few have made a big difference.
I wonder if, for some of these books which are available on Google Books / Project Gutenberg, Logos just gets the raw text from these sites,
-
Can you use that technique to install onto a USB stick? It'd be useful to have Logos on-the-go without having to be constrained by Biblia. (Not that Biblia's not great, but it's not a patch on the full setup.)

If you like to read on your iphone / ipad, beware. The NT background commentary is available on the idevices, but the OT commentary is not.

With such a good system, you should go the RAM disk route. Otherwise, go RAID. Even two modest HDD will typically outperform a top-flight drive. Five 10k disks in RAID, you'll think you're using a RAM disk.

This sounds like a perfect use for the 'free book preview' functionality. I think it'd be great to be able to have a read of a large chunk of the volume before committing to the whole set!
-
$40 for this volume is absurd.
It feels that way, particularly given that: a) You can buy the hardbacks for $30. b) You can still buy the whole 59-volume set for $350! However, I do think that these books are worth it at these prices. The huge amount of work that goes into it for each author, let alone the editing and
