• Differences between WBC 58 and WBC 59?

I was wondering, does anyone know the differenc between the WBC 58 and the current WBC 59? Having a look through the list, the two differences that I can spot is a revision of Psalms 1-50, and a new book Job 21+. Are there any others? What's particularly annoying is that to buy the missing volume will cost $50 for an unlock, when I can buy the hardcover

  • Re: No internet at Church....

I don't see a lack of internet connection as being a big deal. Even though we don't have an internet connection in our I think it's a positive step by Logos, as it shows that they're looking forward to the future. It will only be a very few years until internet access will be ubiquitous and cheap. By designing a program around that assumption, they

  • How to hide Resources?

There are a number of resources that I will never read (foreign - language bibles, to be specific). How to I go about hiding these within Logos, so they never show up in Logos / Biblia / iPad? As I understand it, if I just delete the resource, Logos will helpfully download a fresh copy of the 'missing' resource! I can find a few things about collections

  • Which Biblical Theology collection?

I'm looking to getting some books on biblical theology. Doing a search comes up with the following collections: IVP - http://www.logos.com/product/4524/ivp-biblical-theology-collection and Zondervan - http://www.logos.com/product/8131/zondervan-biblical-theology-collection both of them look good, and they're the same price (give or take one cent). Does

  • Book availability

I know that the standard answer to all 'when will book 'x' be available' is 'when we sort out the licensing arrangements', but I was wondering why the 'IVP Bible Background Commentary: New Testament' is available on biblia / iphone, but the 'IVP Bible Background Commentary: Old Testament' isn't available. It seems like a strange oversight. Just about

Have you tried NET? I think it's a great translation, especially given the NIV vacuum. I also agree with Tom that the HCSB is a really good translation.

I don't think we should re-use the iphone logo. If you look at the different logos for iphone and mac, you'll see that the lighting angle is very different. To make it properly 'mac-like', you definitely need to make it more 3d, like the Quicktime logo alongside it in the original post.
3) [This might be controversial.] I see the current desktop software model becoming obsolete within this decade or sooner. Regardless of whether "cloud software" will become ubiquitous soon, I think the current L4 model of frequent downloads and client-side indexing should be (optionally) replaced by simply logging on to a website
What's your idea?
Start developing a version for the Apple Tablet. That thing is going to be somewhat popular. You obviously can't start programming, but you can start thinking about the UI.

Despite my above assertion, it did in fact turn out that I was typing my password incorrectly. I was misreading a 'I' for a 'l' when using my password-storage program. mea culpa.

  • Unable to log in via iPhone App

I can't seem to log into the app at all. Every time I try, I get the 'Sign In Failed' error. I know that my username and password is correct. I use it to log into these forums, and into Logos 4 itself. For a while I was able to use the app, but then I changed phones, and haven't been able to log into the program since. Even going back to the old phone
