  • More information on Passage Guide (and Logos sales pages too!)

When I do a passage guide the resources are found very quickly. Unfortunately, the resources are shown in a rather unhelpful fashion. For example, looking at my resources that deal with Matthew 24:29-31 I get a page of resources which, unless it is identified as a series in its title ("Pillar") I have to access it to find out more information, and often

  • Re: Reading plans

Thanks for the help! My reading plan is caught up to last Monday on my computer, but my app still shows me back to a time that I last used the app to read. I tend to use my computer more than my app, but have recently returned to my app.

Hi--is there a way to synchronize the reading plan from my Android to my desktop, and vice-versa? It doesn't seem to be automatic.

Thank you! I'm going to need a bigger boat, however. Is there a source for all the search filters?

  • Filtering search by resource date

I am trying to do a search on the term "social justice" in my resources (yeah, I know). I have pages of results due to my high number of resources, and older resources certainly use the phrase differently than it is used in the last decade. Is there a way to filter the results so that I only get resources that were created (not added by me, but publication

  • Re: Can someone from Logos respond about this?

Thank you. So which Hebrew Bible ought I to prioritize in order to make this work? Right now, it seems that if I type in a Hebrew lemma, only Lexham Hebrew Bible works. I was usually using BHS 4.2.

  • Re: Can someone from Logos respond about this?

I tried with the ESV only--same results. Again, both in Morph and Bible tabs. Interestingly, the template "Hebrew Root Word" does work, but only in the ESV (which may be as it is intended). If I use the "analysis" view, I can manipulate the results to find what I need, but it is very slow and not as easy as just finding a "translated as" or "not translated

  • Re: Can someone from Logos respond about this?

Thank you for offering to help. I am adding four screenshots. The first is for שוב translated as "return," then the results. The third shows the same Hebrew term NOT translated as "return," then the results. As you can see, the error shows up in both attempts. I can try this in either "Bible" or "Morph" tabs and get the same error. I should note that

  • Can someone from Logos respond about this?

I think there may be a programming error in the search templates. I've tried to get help before, and other people do not seem to have this problem. I am running Logos 8.9.0.0023 with all Logos 8 features. Platinum. My computer is an MSI with intel i7-7700HQ CPU @2.80 GHz 2.80 GHz. 16.0 gb RAM So far I've only found this error in the Hebrew templates

  • Re: Trouble with searching "intersects"

Thank you for your answers--I see a couple of workarounds that I can use. Using the reverse interlinear ESV, the template does not work when I enter data: <Lemma = lls/he/שׁוב> INTERSECTS repent This returns 0 hits. But when I manually do this: שׁוב INTERSECT "REPENT" it works. Maybe a bug? If not, some more context documentation for the templates

  • Trouble with searching "intersects"

I'm trying to find all the instances where שׁ֖וּב is translated "repent." I get no results. As I experiment with the search template, "Hebrew word translated as" I get no results. I'm using the Morph tab on searching, and have selected Gen - 2 Chronicles and am using BHS Westminster 4.2. I have the Platinum level of software, which tells me also that

This is something of a disappointment. I like to read the the cross references from an open passage list alongside the Bible text I'm working from.

  • Save to Passage List

I notice a change, but maybe I'm missing things. In Logos 7 I could mark (select) a passage of the Bible, or any book, and the context menu allowed me to "save to passage list." This would take each cross reference or footnote in the selected text that contains Bible verses to create a new passage list. I can't seem to find that. When I see "save to

  • Re: Setting Highlight to Active Notebook

That works. So it also means that the only way to open and keep open, a notebook is to filter it open. Is that correct?

  • Setting Highlight to Active Notebook

It seems that something has changed. I have been using the online tutorials about notes, and I thought it was working, but now it isn't: When I set Highlighting "Solid Colours" or "Emphasis markup" to "Active Notebook," notes that are highlighted become notes, but are not assigned to the active notebook to no notebook. Is the active notebook something
