Hi Dan, Unfortunately, I havent used the iphone app. I would suggest it is more like the iphone app right now and probably will graduate to being more like the desktop app in the future. The logos site has several screenshots to give you a feel for it. And I believe Kevin Purcell (sp?) posted a personal video review of it to give you a feel for it.

Other nice to have features would be: - when using the "share" function for twitter or facebook that it actually lets you share a selection of text not just the title of what you are reading... and if it's a Bible passage should share the passage with a short url link to it vs. promoting the logos app - also being able to copy and paste portions of

Is there any listing of materials that are planned to be iPhone/iPad available? 1) Recently got: Summa Contra Gentiles, by Thomas Aquinas (4 Vols.) and wondered when it would be made available on my iPad? 2) Is the plan for newer releases to co-launch the iPhone/iPad versions of the books so there is no or minimized delay from standard desktop vs. mobile

It would be nice to be able to browse by collection and also by book type... (E.g. commentaries, lexicons, etc.)

Hi, I was wondering if there was a timeline to have this series available on the iPhone/iPad? Thanks, - Sumair

This would be a great feature. So one can load in all their powerpoints for sermons and have the slide content and notes section index.

Thanks Jeremy. Appreciate it!

Thanks for your reply. So it seems you can't search your commentaries or other resources (only can search top bibles)? So the only indirect search of your other resources would be if they are commentaries that come up in a passage guide search?

Hi, I am about to get an iPad and was wondering (1) if the Logos iPad app allows one to conduct a basic search and choose your pre-defined collections so the search is focused on a section of your library.(2) I assume one can do a basic search of the entire library and (3) sort the search results by book as well as by rank? If anyone can provide some

I was wondering if you can see a commentary beside an open bible?

This would be a great idea... or even comparing it to the desktop version and indicating the differences in features and what is being worked on...

For those who are using the iPad, since I am considering purchasing one for L4 primarily, I was wondering if it had the "parallel resources" feature so if I look up a topic I can cycle through my resources that also have a reference to the given topic/passage? Also, how do you all feel about doing most of your reading and research on the iPad instead

A shelf view like apple's iBook for the iPad would definitely be a nice tough. Would be nice on the iPad version of Logos to be able to browse our libraries that way and read as we go.

Agreed. Or even the ability to sign up to an RSS feed or email update that details what is in each update.

Hi, I see that the "sermon file" add on is being worke on for 2010 and was wondering: 1) If it would support importing powerpoint and/or PDF files? 2) and index the text in slides and the notes field used in powerpoint? This would be incredibly handy. 3) Another dream feature would be linking it to a blog someone has in case they have posted on certain
