The Dell Inspiron Duo looks interesting too.... I personally haven't had any experience with it, but it looks like it could make a good Logos device: http://www.dell.com/InspironDuo

It's possible that the file doesn't exist for you and this is another problem you're having. About Vista, you should consider upgrading to windows 7. Highly recommended, especially if you're running Vista right now.

Hmm.... both my computers have the same directory structure. Let's try something else. Open Explorer and in the address bar put this: %userprofile%\appdata\local\logos4\data From there, use the search box (it's to the right of the address bar) to search for the word "downloadmanager.db" (without quotes) see what it finds. Mine gives me the one file

  • Suggestion: Allowing husband and wives to share one Logos 4 license

Hello, although the bible considers a husband and wive "one", the EULA is a legal document in which legally, we're two separate people which means I can't share my Logos 4 license with my wife. We each have our own laptops and so the line: We hereby grant You a nonexclusive license to use the Software and "unlocked" Content on the computer or computers

I do have Windows Update set to automatic. I'm running win7. I was able to install and successfully download and index everything yesterday. Today I started it up, it told me it was downloading some updates and then crashed. Now it crashed immediately everytime I start it up. I did find a work around though (see my post above).

Ok, I got a fix. I don't know exactly what it's doing, but it seems to have fixed it. I renamed \Logos4\Data\....\DownloadManager\DownloadManager.db to DownloadManager.db.bak and it seems to have reset some stuff. There must be some malformed data in the DownloadManager.db.Not sure how I got into that state, but I can send the file to someone at Logos

Each time I start Logos 4 on my desktop, I get this error message: "Logos Bible Software 4 Indexer has stopped working" I don't see any problems on my laptop. Any idea what's going on?
