Yes, about a week ago I started experiencing similar issues where Logos will take over 5 minutes to open. I have a fast cpu, 32 GB of RAM, and a dedicated SSD for Logos. While opening Logos my cpu is maxed at 100% with Logos taking over 90% of it. After opening it is still incredibly slow, taking up to 30 seconds to do things like closing or opening

I purchased three dictionaries: https://www.logos.com/product/5413/new-international-dictionary-of-the-christian-church https://www.logos.com/product/17255/encyclopedic-dictionary-of-cults-sects-and-world-religions https://www.logos.com/product/5411/new-international-bible-dictionary However, my disappointment is that content from these three dictionaries

Is anyone else seeing a problem where the notes window fails to refresh? I like to work with my notes open in a floating window and I'll often have multiple tabs open for my various notebooks. Over time the notes window fails to refresh leaving a blank screen like the screen shot below. I can click to another tab and back and it remains blank, but if

I use Visual Copy running on Logos 8 Windows to send verses to Proclaim but I am having an issue with the media background not remembering the background I last used. Each time I use Visual Copy it reverts back to a background that I used several weeks ago instead of the one I used last. This behavior started about three weeks ago but prior to that

I have been monitoring this thread for a couple of weeks now and I too echo some of the wishes for improvements in the Logos maps and Atlas tool, however my biggest wish for Logos 9 is for more polishing of Notes. Of all the tools in Logos, Notes is the one that I use and value the most. I thought the new Notes engine in Logos 8 was a significant upgrade

If you have the desk space it doesn't have to be one or the other. I use two 27" curved screen monitors with Logos and love it. It did take me a while to get used to feeling almost surrounded by monitor, but once you get over the initial adjustment, it is really nice.
2. On the desktop/Mac app hold shift (or Mac equivalent) and click the sync icon on the top right.
Thank you for your suggestion. That worked for me. A couple of days ago I noticed that my desktop installation of Logos hadn't synced my notes in over a week. That prompted me to try Sync Now, Update Now, multiple

I encountered the same behavior after I updated Logos to the latest build release. After installing I tried to open my previous session, which included a floating Notes window, and Logos crashed. I can reproduce this behavior on demand.
so maybe you need to stop watching pervert’s stuff online.
DAL that comment was out of line. I never have and never will personally attack you or anyone else on this board. All I said was that "smiley face" was not positive in my opinion.
It may just be a "smiley face" to you, but its general usage isn't very nice, to say the least. I believe you're a better person than what the meme represents.
My reaction to that image is the same as yours Petah. Not positive at all. Every time I see it pop up in this thread I cringe.
As a follow-up, I had decided to get the biblical languages package as it was a great deal but was waiting (cash flow issues). In August it was available, now in September it is only available to academic customers so not to me. When I asked support about it they told me that it had always been that way (not true in

So you're saying Faithlife would not be operating with "integrity" if they release Logos 8 in July? If hypothetically they were to release the last week of July that would only be two weeks shy of their stated goal of a roughly two year cycle. That seems awfully harsh. I wouldn't want to personally be held to that standard of integrity.

I have been watching for a good sale on NICOT/NICNT for quite some time and jumped at the chance to pick up the 24 volumes that I was missing. BECNT is the other series on my wishlist that I'm watching and waiting for.

I have a question that I looked to see if someone else has posted yet but I couldn't find anything. I am a current Logos Now subscriber that was automatically mapped to the Connect Starter subscription. After looking the Starter subscription over I have no real interest in it, however I might I have an interest in the Connect Essentials subscription
I also got a free Lexham Press book. Considering that some were dissatisfied that the free LN books were Public Domain titles, we can now choose an additional book each month from many modern titles that FL publishes, including EEC volumes. Let's estimate that benefit at $350.
Will you own the free Lexham Press book

If I could choose one feature that I would add to Logos above all others this would be it. Leveraging crowd sourcing to fill in the gaps of where Logos is lacking would take the product to another level.

Yes agreed!

You have a couple of options for using Logos on your Kindle Fire. I prefer to use the Logos application available from the Amazon app store. https://www.amazon.com/Faithlife-Corporation-Bible/dp/B0062RM1VQ/ref=sr_1_1?s=mobile-apps&ie=UTF8&qid=1509399848&sr=1-1&keywords=logos Another option would be to use the Logos web app from the Silk

I'm curious if the BECNT commentary series has ever been in a base library? Also, how often does the BECNT series go on sale? The reason I ask is that five of the eighteen volumes, including some of the ones I want most, are in the Baker Gospel Studies Collection which is included in this sale.
I want this, I think: https://www.logos.com/product/5322/dictionary-for-theological-interpretation-of-the-bible How important is this and how good of a deal is it? Does it ever come on sale at a better price?
I bought this book yesterday but was disappointed that entries in this dictionary don't seem to show up in my Factbook
