What happened to Logos' idea that you will not lose the resources you have when newer versions are developed?

  • Re: Information popup on mouse over

Hi Richard, I am using the Interlinear pane in the ASV bible but that doesn't solve my problem. I have an Afrikaans Bible with Strong's Numbers in the New testament. In Libronix, when I hover over any word in the Afrikaans bible it gives me the proper info as explained earlier. This doesn't happen in Logos 5 which makes it very difficult to utilise

Hi Graham, I have tried it and it gives all the info displayed in Libronix but in a separate window not as a popup box.

  • Information popup on mouse over

I used to be able to get a detailed information popup window when I hovered my mouse over a resource (e.g. KJV). That info is now only available in the Information window with a barely visible popup window at the bottom with minimal info. For instance: In 2 Chron 20:15 I hovered over " said " and in my Libronix I get a clear visible popup window with

  • Re: Logos 5 Crashed after HDD crashed (Blue Screen)

Another issue arose. After following Graham's advice Logos was able to start but the following two problems occurred. 1. Updates wouldn’t install. I received the following Error message: The program or feature “\??\C:\Users\Family\AppData\Local\Logos4\Data\tqdjxszm.ag1\UpdateManager\Installers\843\LogosSetup.exe” cannot start or run due to incompatibility

  • Logos 5 Crashed after HDD crashed (Blue Screen)

I have Logos 5 installed on my Peckard Bell Laptop (CPU: Intel i5-2450M; 8GB DDR3 Memory) but my HDD crashes every now and then (blue screen etc.) which forcees me to do a hard boot (restart). After the last crash my Logos 5 also didn't want to restart and gave me an error: "Logos 5 Bible Software has stopped working. I've sent my Log file to support

  • Re: Personal Book not built in compiled font + Graphics don't display!

Hi Graham Thanks for pointing me in the right direction even though the suggestions did not work for me. What did work was that I selected Change Styles > Style Set > Default (Black and White) . Once I did that the BB recognized my fonts and I could continue with the formatting of the document. With regards to the Pictures . I didn't know what Type

  • Personal Book not built in compiled font + Graphics don't display!

I've compiled 2 Personal books using the same PC and method. The first one was originally a PDF document that I converted to a *.docx document and added headings etc. to give it the proper L5 resource attributes. I then created the second Personal book from a e-Book, converting it to *.docx. I followed the same procedure but this time the book won't

  • Backup and/or Synchronization between PCs

Hi, I use L3 (Scholar's Library) on a laptop (PC1) that became outdated (insufficient hardware capabilities) and installed L4 (core engine) on my new laptop (PC2). I also have L3 and L4 installed on a desktop at church (PC3) that I basically used as a Backup for L3. How do I: Transfer Note files from L3 (PC1) to L4 (PC2)? Backup L4 on PC2? With L3 it

  • Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary (Eleventh Edition)

In Libronix you have the option to double click any English word in any Resource Window and the Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary (Eleventh Edition) would open. How can I get L4 to do the same?

  • Libronix 3 on Vista to Logos 4 on Windows 7

Hi, I have a Libronix Schollar's Library that runs on my PC with Vista (PC1). I just bought a new PC with Windows 7 (PC 2). I installed the free Logos 4 engine on PC2 and tried to get L4 to discover my Libronix resources via the following methods: Syncronization. Placing the Libronix 3.0 F DVD in the drive and typing "scan" in the command box. Placing

  • Re: Highlights

Thanks for asking the question and double thanks for all the replies. I would certainly vote that Logos find a solution since Highlighting (and especially for Bible Study purposes) is an integral part of what Logos was designed for.
