My memory remembers something else I never saw the CBV tool appearing when doing a right-click copy.
Very likely true since I only had Logos 5 a week before upgrading to 6 =). Now if I could only map keyboard copy and paste keys to the copy verse tool =). Thanks for all your super-valuable help!

Just found it. When I click on tools the copy verse tool is there. It adds a tab to the information window. This does not happen when I right click and select copy . Is this the expected behavior?
-
From what I remember when I was on Logos 5, the copy verse tool popped up when I selected 'copy '. Now, nothing happens so when I paste I get the one verse per paragraph option with no way to change it. Is my memory correct on that? Is there another way to access the copy verse tool?
-
Yes I am doing exactly what you are but my pasted results are much different. I get: Mark 1:32 That evening at sundown they brought to him all who were sick or oppressed by demons. Mark 1:33 And the whole city was gathered together at the door. Mark 1:34 And he healed many who were sick with various diseases, and cast out many demons. And he would not

When I was using Logos 5, whenever I right clicked on a verse and chose copy it would pop up an option asking how I wanted it formatted. Since upgrading to Logos 6, I can't seem to find out how to change the copy behavior. Currently it just copies each verse as it's own labeled paragraph, which works well for single verse references. Before I believe

That was it. I had been searching in 'Bible' mode, but had closed my search and then reopened a new one, which switched back to basic without my realizing it. I'll have to pay closer attention each time in the future. Thanks!

I performed a search today and was quite surprised at the results. I chose my top Bibles and entered the search (without quotes): fishers of men The results I received don't seem to make sense. Mat 4:1 & Mark 1:1 (ESV & NASB) Clearly something went wrong here. The verses listed only contain the word 'of' that was in my search. If I put the phrase "fishers

I guess that makes sense. Sometimes I just want to add a note to a passage I came across and only want it associated with that passage and so was hoping this was a way to keep it simple.
-
I've noticed that after creating a new note, when I right click on a verse/word, I only have the option to add a note to an existing note and not create a new one. It does give me the option to create a new community note. Is there a way to easily create a new note that isn't connected to my previous notes when studying a passage like this?

I suspect it will be much slower than an internal drive. SATA (common internal drive interface) runs at about 3-6Gb/sec, but is a dedicated channel and much more CPU independent. USB3 is 5gb/sec but is a shared interface and heavily CPU dependent so you usually won't get near that in real world use. When performing anything CPU heavy (i.e. just about

The blurriness appears to be some kind of scaling issue. Mine do not look blurry (though I agree they aren't as attractive as the old ones you show). Check what scaling you have on both your OS as well as Logos and see if changing either of them affects this. If it does, then report the specifics to Logos.

Memory usage is more than just what's left over. There is what memory a program reserves, and what it actually is using. 64 does allow it to use more memory, which should improve performance for an app like LOGOS that is working with massive amounts of data. If it did not use additional memory then there would not be any performance gains. It is important

I don't know of a solution from the Logos side of the equation (maybe someone who knows will pipe in), but on the Word side, there is the paste option to keep only text that may help you. This will result in the pasted text matching whatever your document (or section of the document you are in) text is currently set to.

I'm curious if it made any difference that when I typed in the search, it listed 'LAW topic' in the dropdown and I selected that before starting the search. The result was the search was performed with the command: purpose of the . Does this mean it searched within the topic LAW for the words purpose & of?
-
I was experimenting with various syntaxes to see what kind of results I would get with a topical search. I typed in purpose of the law, but did not hit enter. The search field populated with topics, one of which was the topic LAW. I selected that topic and then it performed the full search. I've been trying to figure out how to do better topical searches

I've been working through trying to understand searching and topics in Logos as a new user. In a recent search I got some results that were so highlighted and colored I could barely read them. What is the purpose of all these colors and is there a way to tone them down? Here is an example of my results:
-
I tagged all my Bibles (and all other resources) just so I could easily spot new resources by items that are missing a 'mytag'.
-
Yep. That's the behavior I'm seeing. I've been using the sort by tags as a workaround, but it would be nice to have some kind of operators to control this list as well.
-
I like the flexibility of the passage guide, but some of the entries display far too much media with no seeming way to control it. I'm speaking primarily about Biblical People, Events, Places, and Things. These entries return a ton of images that can make deciphering the results a challenge. I like how the Explorer tool displays a simple list for things

Hi Graham. I don't want to search within the resources, I just want to search the list of resources I own to view what titles I own. So I'm not performing this search within the search function (magnifying glass), but within the Library function (book icon).
