• Re: Do we own the product, or now we access to this product ?

It gets confusing because there is so much inconsistency. Here on the Christmas sale page we are apparently back to using owned (Which I still prefer).

  • Problems with selecting search Range

Hello. I am unable to create a custom search range with multiple books as the window that pops up to select the range is mostly cut off and does not move to allow more selections. Attached is a screenshot. I have Android 9 and Logos Mobile 9.9.2. I've never tried this function before, so I don't know if this is a new issue or not.
I found it clumsy and unintuitive.
Sadly, well said. It is very powerful and you can get a lot done, but it's often confusing and so can take a lot of effort to get over that initial learning curve. I guess that's Logos in general! Home page is kind of a home page, but then it has back arrows to go to your opened resource

  • Re: Researching in Logos

Hi Steven. Thanks for the in depth information. I'm not doing any kind of formal research or writing so while I want to have everything in a form I can review and think over, it doesn't need any kind of format requirements. This is simply my wanting to tackle some theological issues on my own that I've never really given enough time to before. The outlet

I have not ever used this though I'll definitely look into it as a possibility. I would still like a single object type that I can add all the other document types and references into but this may be the next best option. Thanks!

  • Researching in Logos

I am wanting to start research on various topics using all my various Logos resources and was wondering how best to go about putting it all together. It seems Logos has all the pieces between notes, clippings, sermon docs, canvas, etc... but to the best of my knowledge, there is no way in Logos to put all these 'components' of the research into a single

  • Factbook tagging of firstborn in Hebrews 12:23

In Hebrews 12:23, the word firstborn is tagged for factbook as referring to Jesus. The resources I have checked including the UBS on Hebrews seem to conclude that this instance of firstborn is actually believers because it is plural and modified by "who are enrolled", which makes me believe this probably should not be tagged as a factbook entry for

  • Re: A Much Missed Feature of the Sermon Editor

Whatever the solution, it needs to be capable of being handled entirely with the keyboard. Please don't force a mouse action (optional is fine) to accomplish the task as that can disrupt flow.

With the latest Logos update I so far have not been able to repro issue #2 as I was on demand before the update on at least 2 of my 3 computers.

The problem is where do you draw the line? Factbook? Notes? Concordance? Power Lookup? Feature creep is the enemy of apps such as this. Pretty soon you end up with exactly what we have now, a rebranded Logos app that tries to be a reading app and fails. A few tools are okay so long as they are not in the way of a simple book reading experience, which

To clarify, I mean factbook is not needed as a separate full function for searching and finding entries. As I posted previously, having it integrated so that I can push and hold a word in a book and it be listed as a selection choice if there is a relevant entry would be very useful. I just don't think there should be a full factbook interface section
Factbook is unnecessary for a barebones reading app.
In general the factbook is not needed in the reading app, however, in the same way as Kindle allows me to press and hold a word to get a definition, so the same functionality would be nice to let me open any relevant entry in factbook in the reading app. The key is it would

When I open the Faithlife app, I am greeted with an app that looks and acts much like Logos in how it functions. Great for studying the Bible, not so much for casual reading. Way too complex. I just tried it on a completely different machine (Windows 11 Surface Pro 7+)and replicated the same behavior. To make sure I explained the steps well: Take a sermon document longer than a page (it works on any length but this makes the jump more obvious) Make sure there is at least one verse box at or near the bottom of the document Near the top, enter
