• Why Lexham's Book of Enoch skips chapters 33-88, 90-108?

Just wondering why the The Lexham English Septuagint's Book of Enoch skips chapters 33-88, 90-108?

  • Re: Red Letter not working in NKJV

I'm glad this post is online because I had the same problem. I do not think red letters should be linked to the control of "Bible text only". It should be totally controlled by the red letter ON/OFF control in the Preferences. It is highly confusing when there is a red letter control in Preferences, that can be overridden somewhere else that is not

  • Re: Can I operate 2 Logos accounts using the same computer?

Thanks Graham. All these decades since I've used Logos, and upgraded through each iteration, I've just created mark-ups and not been aware of what Notebook these were placed in. I just went with the default. Hence, I'm unaware of how to create separate Notebooks, and how to intentionally place mark-ups in a desired Notebook. In Logos 8, I checked, and

  • Can I operate 2 Logos accounts using the same computer?

I operate Logos 8 using my main Logos account. Can I log out of my main account, and then log in using another Logos account e.g. a free account? The reason is that, in my main account, the ESV Bible is full of my markings and annotations. But for teaching purposes, I want to display the ESV with different, and simpler range of annotations to show people

  • Re: Printing Without Footnotes
If you set "Copy Footnotes" to "No" in Program Settings you won't get footnotes in the exported document.
Frank, thanks so much for that. I will save me much time, as I frequently need to export to MS Word, and I've previously had to laboriously remove the footnotes one by one. For some reason, even Microsoft Word

  • Re: Highlights Missing In Mobile App (iOS)?

I'm having the exact same problem, and came to the forum to find an answer. I let Logos updated the software automatically, both on Mac and iOS, so I assume that using the latest on both platforms means updated to the latest Notes format. I'm using latest Logos Mac 8.4, and latest iOS version that the App Store gives me when running latest iOS version

I tried this, and it does not work. Footnotes are still displaying in the RTF file. i unclicked the "Show Footnotes on Page" setting, and ensured there was no tick. Even in the visual filter icon, I un-clicked everything. I am using Logos 8 latest.

  • Re: Is Logos 8 coming out soon?

I comment on the self-evident idea that FL are wanting people to buy a new base package. I've been using the software since the LLS system soon after 1995, and frankly, after purchasing many thousands of dollars worth of books, I have most of what I need. Now, there are specific books and commentary packages I want, but that somewhat depends on my budget

  • Re: Logos 7 highlights will not delete

Thanks. From me not realising this feature was there - and now seeing it - it's amazing software. All my markings are in the ESV, and I had been contemplating going through a different translation to enter the markings (as a useful spiritual exercise), but suddenly the Logos 7 software does it with one button click. I'm staggered :)

  • Re: Logos 7 highlights will not delete

Thanks Graham and JT, but I still have not gotten resolution. As background information to show my present understanding: I created a blue-color-highlight in the NKJV -- and this immediately showed up in the ESV. And I cannot delete the blue-highlight in the ESV, but I can delete that blue-highlight in the NKJV where it was originally created. My problem

  • Re: Logos 7 highlights will not delete

My main version is the ESV. I happened to note that these un-erasable highlights are said to be from the corresponding NKJV version. So I went to the NKJV, and see that these highlights are coming from there. I was able to erase them from there. I did not realise that highlights, in one version, could display in other versions. When I highlight a portion

  • Logos 7 highlights will not delete

I have a vast number of highlights and emphasis mark-ups. A problem is that there are few markings that cannot be deleted ("undeletable markings") on the Mac using the ERASE clickable command. Typically it takes sometimes a minute or so for all the markings to appear (perhaps because I have so many markings), however, these undeletable markings appear

  • Bug report - color highlighting cannot be removed

In the latest Logos 7 for Mac, certain color highlights cannot be removed. Clicking ERASE, as usual, does not remove the colors. I even tried going to the iOS app to remove the colors there, but the colors do not appear in the iPad app version. When I go the "three dots" icon to hide the Notes and Highlights, everything else becomes hidden, but these

  • Septuagint, which should I buy: Rahlfs or Swete

Greek-lemma searching, via the reverse interlinear, is probably one of my most heavily used features in Logos. I want to do such Greek-lemma searching in the Septuagint. My aim is to see, as far as possible, how those Greek words were used in the Old Testament writings - as least in the minds of the Septuagint translators. I was told there are two versions
