That would be it. How interesting. Thank you.

I have 17 resources marked with a temporary license, but no subscriptions or reason that I can see for having a temporary license for these. Can anyone help me to understand why I have access to these? When I go to the product page, it appears that I can purchase the resource. Thanks in advance.

This has probably already been requested by now... but the ability to import Sermons from .docx files in order to have them searchable under "my content."

You're right - it's in my library, even. I overlooked that as I was looking through missing volumes.

The following volumes have been released by Beacon Hill Press, and are not yet on Logos: 1 & 2 Kings Ecclesiastes / Lamentations 1 & 2 Thessalonians 1 & 2 Timothy / Titus Exodus (released in January 2018). I am grateful for the 29 excellent volumes that Logos has already made available, and I am looking forward to purchasing these next four (soon to

Do you suppose a direct plea would do any good? The more I think about it, the more frustrated I am of the possibility that this won't get made. The first New Beacon bundle was my first ever purchase on Logos. I didn't purchase a base package until the Wesleyan/Methodist package became available. I quite literally wouldn't be a Logos customer if it

I would be interested in knowing the real expense of formatting a commentary for Logos... (Not being critical, genuine curiosity). I know part of the strategy of Prepub is that it prioritizes titles - but one thing I wish that Faithlife would observe is that Wesleyan/Anglican materials are under-represented in comparison to Reformed, for example. I

Not to mention I really would have loved having the Acts commentary over the last few weeks... especially as I'm preparing the Ascension text this week.
-
I preordered this only a few days ago when I purchased the last NBBC upgrade... I have found this to be a top notch commentary set. I was in several classes taught by Steve Green (author of the Deut. commentary in Pre-pub) and the man is phenomenally brilliant, and wonderfully mischievous. I've glanced through his commentary and it's fantastic - I desperately

Thanks, Bill. I don't preach on themes either - my question was intended to read more along the lines of "how do you exposit common themes from among lectionary texts that cover a span of weeks?" (to use your language). I'm with you, for what it's worth - I am not married to the lectionary, but I do see its benefits and probably preach lectionary texts
-
I am working on developing a free utility for the development of sermons and sermon series', and I'm looking for input from other Lectionary preachers. What strategies do you use to develop a series using Lectionaries texts? What kinds of things do you look for to identify common themes among readings and *especially* among weeks? How do you identify

I hope it gets made... I've read through much of the Green volume, but I would like to own it on Logos.

I came here to recommend John Walton's "Lost World" books. Ben beat me to it, so I'll give an enthusiastic "Second."
-
Strange - tried again and it works for me. Try searching for "New Beacon Bible Commentary Upgrade 5 vols."

I just pre-ordered and it gave it a bigger jump than I might have expected. A handful of people might put it over. FWIW, the Deuteronomy commentary by Steve Green is worth the cost by itself - it's truly fantastic. https://www.logos.com/product/126947/new-beacon-bible-commentary-upgrade

Take your pick of blogs from this week's Gospel reading: http://www.textweek.com/mtlk/matt1.htm Working Preacher is often a good one.

Ah - vote here! https://logos.uservoice.com/forums/42823-logos-bible-software-7/suggestions/1123627-built-in-rss-reader This would be extremely valuable to many of us!

As someone who preaches out of the RCL, I visit numerous sites each week with RCL content. One feature I would love to see in Logos is an RSS scraper, which could check RSS feeds daily or on-demand, import their content, and perhaps provide an option to insert milestones for searching for the content the next time the cycle comes around.

Update: After installing a recent Logos update, this issue was resolved without rebuilding personal books on both computers where I run Logos software. I don't know how or why - but I'm glad it's fixed.
