Thanks everyone. You've all given me some great ideas to build on. Much appreciated.

This year, I'm looking to change how I manage my notes using the notes icons and I'm wondering what system others may be using to categorize their notes using the various note icon symbols and colors? Has anyone ever seen a blog on this topic from Morris or someone else? Thank you in advance for all answers.

Thanks Graham, I was trying for too much complexity but sometimes the best path forward is simple queries. Great help as always!

Hi, a member of my congregation is hotly contesting the topic of different levels of sin (aka some sins are greater than others). And so, I want to use Logos to dig into the topic but because its a little bit nebulous, I can't just enter 'sin' in the factbook. Any suggestions on how to run this type of query? Thanks in advance for all answers.

Happy Thanksgiving Dal, and I totally agree there is much to be thankful for even in this odd topsy turvy year!

Thanks for the Search Graham. I also thought I would just try to add the Search as a shortcut and it worked! I have never tried this before so I'm not sure if its part of the new feature-set but I'm pretty happy about it. I then created a shortcut folder for "saved searches" so now I can have important or complex searches right in my shortcut folder

Awesome. Thanks Dave.

Does anyone know how to go about searching for all the sermon in your own series? For example, in the Sermon Editor tool one can add the title in the Sermon Series field which I think is very helpful. However, after having done this for little over a year, this morning I decided to search for all of the sermons in a series for the first time and realized

Hi Phil, Great thread. One of my primary pet peeves is with the guides. If you follow a guide through each step by the time you reach the end, you've got a huge number of notes icons in your passage. I think a good idea would be to simply have one note icon show up for each passage in which a guide is used. This will still allow people to see the icon

Thanks Fred and J. That was more than enough to set me on the hunt. Much appreciated.

This topic is probably controversial and I am not looking to start a theological debate on various positions but I am interested in learning how to use Logos to study up on the fact that Jesus knew no sin and yet He came through Mary who, like all humans, was born into sin. The topic would probably be easier to search online, but I want to be able to

Thanks for all the great responses. As it turns out, Powerpoint lets me do the same thing in Windows 360 so it works out perfectly. Very excited to put it to use.

Does anyone know the software used in the Look At The Book Labs series by John Piper? If you don't have the series, it's the type of software that you can use to record yourself while highlighting or making notes in a book of the thre bible. It's seems a wonderful method to teach but I'm not sure of the tools used.

I literally just finished my last payment this month and this has to come along! I've been watching the sale for the past few days and know today is the last day. Blessed is the man that endures temptation so I'm trying to endure here but man this is a great offer!!

Thanks Mark.

Good workaround! Thanks David.

I like the concept of workflows which has actually helped me become more proficient in some of the tools that I don't often use. However, one thing that I am finding somewhat annoying is the large number of notes that are created per workflow. For example, last week I used the Expository Sermon Prep workflow which has 38 steps. Each of these steps may

Yeah, that does make sense. My pre-pub is an older resource and probably not very popular so I'll just ahve to exercise some patience. Thanks again JT.

Ugh!!! Thanks JT.

Once a pre-pub resource status states, "fully funded, in production" roughly how long is it before that resource is available for purchase?
