  • Re: The Baker Exegetical Commentary on the New Testament (BECNT)

Does anyone know if there are any updates for the newest books in this collection?

I found that the sermon file addin created a better searchability and was integrated a little better than the PBBs I had. My main concern is the price that one would have to pay to have the ability to build them.

  • Re: Seminary or Bible College notes input

I believe it would be something of general interest. Logos has taken a lot of steps forward to be extremely useful in the classroom for students studying in seminary. I believe it would be as beneficial as the sermon file add in was for preachers. I am sure there are a number of other students using this program. And I would hate to have to pay 200

  • Seminary or Bible College notes input

I'd like to see something similar to the sermon file add in that can be used for seminary or Bible college or maybe even church service or bible study notes or assignments where we can input them into logos 4 and also add some biographical data.

  • home page ideas

    1. Allow a hover over the bible passages mentioned to pop up the passage (if it is mentioned within the body of the text) 2. When you highlight over more you can continue reading where the home page blurb left off 3. Have at least the option to display a whole subject on the homepage from the books (unstead of teasers they can show the whole section

  • Ability to change background color in logos 4 under settings

I'd like the ability to change the background color so I am not staring at such a bright screen while reading on logos. Barnes and Nobles reader has an excellent option where you can set it to look how you want and it has really helped me be able to read for longer times. I know there is a way to change the settings for all of your windows colors but

  • Re: Logos and Kindle

I have been thinking and debating about this idea of a kindle. But I am afriad that I will loose my favorite logos feature. When you scripture reference in a book you just have to float your mouse over it and boom it pops up. What a great way to hold the author accountable without spending hours looking up every passage. I agree the netbook idea is

Well for me it isn't about not being able to keep up. But getting books that I specificically want or need.

  • Re: Prepub page

I know what you did, i do it all the time accidentally. If you get to the prepub page and accidentally hit "enter" it will do a search for nothing, resulting in nothing. Also a quick trick i use to find all the books about to be ready to be released: hold "ctrl" and hit "f" for find. Then type "projected." and it will highlight where logos put "projected

  • Out sourcing

Ok, I have had a wild idea lately about how logos might be able to punch out more books and we the reader can have books that we love. What if you outsourced the general typing of the books to owners of logos. Let us type up a book for you and then you can add all the awesome linking and stuff. But a majority of the work can be done by all of us. I

  • Re: Reading mode in Logos

What I would love to see in a possible "reading mode' would be to change the background color so to not give me such eye fatigue. Does anyone have any suggestions, monitor type, brighteness, etc. for the least amount of eye strain? This is the only reason I would like to see it on the kindle, if my wife would ever let me get one.

  • Jack Cottrell life works library

So I would love to see a Jack Cottrell life works library. I find reading just one of his books like "faith once for all", which i have from logos, makes me want to read all of his other books (as he often refers to them). This man is probably the leading arminian scholar and would love to see him and his writings get the attention they deserve. Oh
