  • Live Video Feed

Are there plans to insert live video feed capability? A few times a year, we need this capability. In a few weeks we are having out baptism service and our baptistry is in a horrible location so half the church can't see what is going on, so I want to be able to project the camera image on the screen. It would be great if we could do this in the middle

  • Re: Accessibility Question

Thought I would post an update after yesterday's service and our attempt to use the iPad for accessibility for the blind in our service. Although he had to navigate the service slides on his own, he said it was the first time in years he had actually been able to follow along with the service. His comments made my day. We used the Proclaim remote app

  • Accessibility Question

We have an individual in our church who is visually impaired. I am trying to find a way to provide him with access to the presentation slides on an ipad. He has limited sight, but can see enough to read if things are in large print close to his face. I am planning on letting him use an ipad tomorrow that is logged into the remote app. I think I can

  • Bug: Crash during customization of content slide

Working on announcement slides today, and proclaim freezes and then I have to force close of the program when I am working on customizing a content slide. I believe it happens after I have added a custom caption and try to edit it. I am loving the program, and am anxious to get a few of these types of things worked out, so I don't have to stress about

  • L4 Crash on Lion

I downloaded Lion last night because users were saying Logos was stable on it. I can't do any searching on L4 currently. I am attaching a log. Let me know if I didn't do it right. Thanks for your help. Dave 2133.Logos Bible Software 4_2011-07-25-201824_david-souerss-macbook.crash.zip

  • Re: After preaching on Sunday, anyone have the Monday "blues?"

As others have said, this is a topic that is often swept under the rug and needs to be brought out more often. Personally, I don't take Monday's off because I feel like if I get right back into it, it will keep me focused. The other thing that I do is I make sure have some time on Monday's set aside to meet with people who encourage my spirit. Although

  • Re: Highlighting in Reading View

I guess I should have done more looking. For those that didn't know, like me, if you right click on the highlighting toolbar, you are given the option to assign a shortcut to highlighting. So you can highlight by using "control" and whatever letter you assign to it. Dave

  • Highlighting in Reading View

I am trying to do more reading on my computer lately and I can't seem to figure out how to highlight while in reading view. Is this possible? I am running L4 mac 4.2a Beta 2. Thanks for your help. Dave

  • NIV acting as Reverse Interlinear

My NIV bible on L4 is acting as a Reverse Interlinear today. It's a little odd. Is anyone else having this issue. Dave 7115.Logos4.log.zip

  • Re: Anxiously Awaiting Beta 11

I just had to manually download it but it works. You guys at logos are doing a great job. The search bug is fixed, and even better than that, when you expand the resources in the search panel, you no longer have to scroll all the way back to find them, it automatically stays where you were looking. Nicely done.

Thanks Tom. That's what I figured when I went to update yesterday and there was nothing there. Keep up the great work. Dave

  • Re: [bug(s)] Beta 10 - searching and suggestion...

The search issue is a known problem with Beta 10 and is supposed to be resolved in Beta 11, which (according to Logos support) was supposed to be released yesterday. I'm guessing they had some problems with it so that's why it was not released. I'm hoping for today, so that I can actually start using L4 for what I need it for this week. Dave

  • Re: Mac Hardware and Performance: i5, i7, Core 2 Duo

I have a 2.4 GHz core two duo. I know there are even faster out there. I will confess that I am looking at the new macbook pro's with the i7, trying to find some reason that my 2 year old macbook is no longer sufficient. Sadly, I can't justify the money with the wife yet. I'm ready to sell her PC for scrap and give her mine so I can upgrade. She doesn

  • Re: Mac Hardware and Performance: i5, i7, Core 2 Duo

I heard that L4 was being written on the i7 processors, (The guys at Logos will have to verify) so I would assume that if you had an i5 or i7 you would be better suited, but my core 2 duo with 4gb of ram does a pretty good job. But you know what they say about people who assume. Dave

  • Anxiously Awaiting Beta 11

Just waiting for my West coast friends at Logos to get in the office this morning so I can use my L4 again. I've never been so excited about a new Beta. The bug in Beta 10 had me using L3 for my sermon prep for the first time in months. Darn you Labor(less) day. Keep up the good work guys. By the way, I would be in support of moving the Logos office

Thanks Tom. My triangle appears to be inactive and noting happens when I click it. I will have to wait for the update on Tuesday. Thanks for letting us know that you are aware of it and have already developed a fix for it. I just want to say thanks to you and the rest of the development team for your hard work in giving us a great program to use on
