  • Re: Christmas Sale Concerns

Somehow I must have skipped over the part in the bible where it is said it is ok to profit from the word of Yah! Now don't have anything against the software itself if making a some profit but if the Ceo and share holders have a lot from it then enjoy it because your future is more than likely going to get a bit hot so to speak. Something is terribly

  • Re: Perseus Classics Collection?

Yeah it is a good question seeing we all have multiple lexicons and Greek dictionaries like to comment on gathering information to what Paul was up against that of course he had the two pronged teachings of Helenism and Judaism to contend with but I view many of these classics as a good background look into the history and culture but a bit over-kill

  • Re: Logos, Please do Something

Yes I agree I purchase Logos 4 plat back last Jan dumped a lot of money into logos on a six month time frame. At first the software was unusable I do mean unusable which points to it not being ready for prime-time today I enjoy the software and it has become my main program for bible study. I know the thought it isn't a buggy as other software (but

  • Re: Most used Bible version

KJV For me with interlinear and greek and Hebrew and aramaic word aids along with Figures of speech idioms etc and all the tools of logos myself I do shy away from most modern version bibles but that is my preference ( I am hard headed and enjoy the mining of the word apart from what the new versions supply there are just to many different translationsn

  • Re: Some interesting performance info.

I dont think the windows interfacing is the problem the software itself hangs on just the simplest of routines and scrolling down through your bible is awful. Don't know to what purpose is all the bells and whistles worth if the application doesn't work properly all the resources become useless in my opinion especially since I dumped a lot of cash into

  • Re: Draging book to make a collection

This is definately a flaw that should be fixed it isn't hard to do unless the indexes don't permit it dragging and dropping one book at a time pardon my thoughts is absurd especially with the .net architecture anyone from logos please look into this.

  • Re: Is Logos 4 theologically biased?

Ok let me add another two cents worth concerning the bias part I'm not sure nor convinced Logos is biased just the same as other competitors I would like to think that they try to get the most used works out there available today and of course from the business end demand has a big role in it. Touching translations unfortunately it is next to impossible

  • Re: Is Logos 4 theologically biased?

I'd have to agree with you there, but most books today are outside of older commentaries tend to lead towards evangelicals etc that is just a fact of life traditionalists and or fundelmentalists tend to stick towards bible versions and manuscripts etc. Where I think Logos has room for improvement is in their bundling of various commentaries of a wide

  • Re: If I had a million dollars (to grow Logos Bible Software)...

Ok here is my input as a senior .net developer currently a disabled vet probably a year or two away from entering back into the workforce. It pains me to say that I don't think adding loads of new developers will solve anything. It really relies on two areas architecture, and advisors that is where you can improve a bit in this market. What I would
