Well, Milford, That was really on topic. Sorry you didn't find my post kind, gentle and very positive. With 270 posts in this thread titled, "Disappointed," I'd say there probably is a legitimate issue or two that Logos needs to address. And don't bother about praying for me as you fly over my state. I'll get by. By the way, I'm not bowing out. I'm

MJ: Thanks for your explanation. Believe me, I understand. In a sense, it's a matter of semantics. I am fairly proficient in several programming languages. I have not attempted–nor will I ever–to decompile Logos. I don't care what language it's written in. But whether we call them tags, APIs, handles, or indices, we're talking about markers that are

Cynthia: You stated that you didn't read all the posts. Apparently, one of the ones you didn't read was mine. I have used the Logos software for years and it works great. I have never even had to call or email customer support. My complaint is not about poor customer support. Also, I fully understand that all commercial enterprises–whether privately

  • Re: Disappointed

I posted here several weeks ago and my disappointment with Logos management remains. Surely the fact that this thread is still going is proof that Logos did not do a good job on this rollout. I cannot judge whether the confusion was intentional in an attempt to mask the fact that they are charging for code–which they said they would never do–or if they

  • Re: Disappointed

I freely admit that I did not read all of the 200-plus posts in this thread before posting this, but I did scan them and I didn't see my exact concern addressed. If it's in here, I apologize. I purchased the Logos 5 "Starter" package early on. I chose it because it was the cheapest way to get the functionality of the new base software, even though it

  • Re: Margin Notes Idea

Timothy: I'm a late-comer to this topic and very low on the Logos learning curve, but I have been struggling a bit with the same concern that you express. After reading your post and looking through the replies, I've come up with something that works for me. I made a note file entitled "Margin Notes" that I will use when I want a note just as I would

  • Re: A21 - Thank you to Dev Team

Yes! Go Team!! I certainly second the motion on thanks for the reverse interlinears. This rocks! Thanks, Dev Team, for giving us the choice of the panel or inline views. That is absolutely awesome!!! Personally, I love the inline, but there might be times when the panel view would work better for me. And I realize that others preferences might be right

And thank you, Keep Smiling, for the reference to FAQ 5c. Maybe A21 will get here before I even have time to send an offering!

Thanks, Philana. I took a look at the A21 teasers thread. Looks great. I actually prefer this implementation to the interlinear pane, personally. I like having the translation directly under the English text.

Great! This is one of the features that has been at the top of my wish list. Can't wait!

  • English-Greek Reverse Interlinears for Mac

I apologize if this has been addressed somewhere, but I did not find a reference to it. Is there any estimate for when the English-Greek interlinears might become available in Logos 4 Mac?

  • Download - no install

I don't remember the exact date, but I downloaded alpha 17 pretty close to it's release date. I have definitely been using it for more than a week. Today, when I fired up Logos 4, a 600+ mb download started and I assumed it was alpha 18. When it finished, nothing happened. I quit Logos and restarted it which fired up the indexer. Any clue as to what
