  • Re: Logos 5 Impressions & Reviews

I had the very same experience, many of the resources I already own are NOT showing up at all, instead they are in the "new to me" section. Right now I will just wait a few months before I upgrade or sit out on this upgrade cycle altogether.

When do you suppose they will make available the "cross grade"? I just "upgraded" from a the Scholars Silver to the Platunim package, fresh out of resources for another upgrade.

  • Re: Tether, MiFi, or Remote Access?

Morning Graham: Thanks for your response, I appreciate your insight. I know that tethering, and remote access are two different animals. To have remote access requires internet connections which I consider the utlimate solution if it truly and reliably works. I am leaning more toward tethering because I already have a phone-with the ability to tether

  • Re: Tether, MiFi, or Remote Access?

Mike: I appreciate your response. I know my best solution is to invest in a super powerful, super light laptop; but that not in the budget right now. I do approach my study much in the manner that you suggested. Each morning and evening I have 40 minutes of relative quiet, no kids, no loud neighbors, no barking dogs, in other words prime time to study

  • Tether, MiFi, or Remote Access?

Greetings Everybody, I am a newbee around here and I been looking at some posts regarding remote access, I am trying to determine which option is best. I have an IPad2-Wi Fi only 64gig device, Scholars Silver LE Library base package. I purchased primarily for study on the go but discovered that I need internet connectivity to study the way I desire

  • Re: Passage Guide Search offline?

No worries on this end, lets keep the dialogue going, and keep the suggestions coming, I am open to both. There is much for me to learn about this software that I do not know about despite having it since the first release of it many moons ago. I have always been high on Logos, I think that it is the best of the bunch when it comes to bible software

Mr. alabama24- I am not trashing a product that I have already invested thousands in, I simply desire more functionality of the product with my I pad. The passage guide is essential to how I use the product, maybe that feature is not that important to you and that is ok. What matters to me is how I use the product to minister to God's people. Because

  • Re: Passage Guide Search offline?

alabama24-the ability to search "collections" offline would be a start. I guess I do not understand how competing software already has the ability to do this and logos doesn't. In terms of how I use the PG, after I have performed my exegetical study a passage, I perform a passge guide study and check trusted sources to see what they have said on the

  • Re: Passage Guide Search offline?

I guess what I am asking is why is there not a feature that allows "indexing" of downloaded files to the iPad's hard drive so that I can use the software on the moble device in the same manner I use it on my lap top. The Passage "guide" feature (indexing) should be available to those resources that are downloaded to your device for offline study. Searching

  • Passage Guide Search offline?

Hello everyone, I am new to the forums and was wandering if Logos has developed a way for us to perform passage study while offline. I have downloaded much of the resources that I want included in the passage seach to my iPad2's hard drive, but the app still searches for wi-fi connections (internet) before the passage study is performed. Did I miss

  • Re: Place your bets - What will come first iPad 3 or Logos App?

I use the I pad to teach and preach. Not worried about malfuntions, I study hard and depend upon the Holy Spirit for delivery.

  • Re: Logos - Please invest more in the mobile apps

It's a different world now, Logos needs to flow with the technology advances or they may find that the mobile bible software market has passed them by. Personally I have spent thousands on Logos over the past 20 or so years, building my library, upgrading with each new release. I want to be able to access my investment in Logos on what ever mobile device

I agree, I want better coverage-something AT&T does not care about. I have the iphone but will buy an android device when I need to upgrade. Please develop an android app. Thanks

  • Re: Android, Please!?!?!?!?

I agree with that comment, If there was a Android app I would have bought an android phone. Spotty coverage at best out in non-urban areas. Verzion covers most of the small towns I may have to minister in.

  • Android Support

Logos, with the iphone app-you opened a can of worms (i.e. what about support for other platforms). I am a L3 user about to upgrade to V4 but I don't care for the Iphone current phone network. When will we see Android apps for Logos?
