Thanks all, the series started out under B&H as noted. They published three volumes and those are part of the initial launch of our series. The volumes that are on preorder are all written and in various stages of editorial, so we're confident we'll see them in good time. We also have more volumes in the door that are being reviewed, so we should see

Sure: Manuscript for Discovering the NY vol. 2 is in and being worked on. Aiming for the end of the year. Geo Comm OT is also coming together. Pentateuch is well on it's way!

We've been in contact with the author and confirmed that it's been a bit delayed by the craziness of Covid. But it's getting very close! We're sorry for the delay and hoping for a Q3 release.

"So if I understand you correctly, anyone who has pre-ordered this volume or the entire EEC will get this volume for free?" Yes, that's right.
-
Hello all, We haven't made this announcement yet, but we will be unlocking this volume for people who pre-ordered the EEC volume prior to this posting. We've decided to make it a standalone only for the consistent format & tone of the series. It is an excellent commentary, I think it will be a great addition to your libraries. You will still receive

Hi folks, I'll just chime in to make it clear that some of Mike's books are going through rights transfers between publishers. There is no problem with his work and the books will reappear once details are settled. Sorry for the confusion! Jesse
-
Mattilo, Yes, your understanding is correct: we will unlock the new commentary to owners of the current James volume when it is complete. We've not yet announced a new author for the volume, but we are in the midst of that process. These are significant volumes so it will be some time yet before the final product is shipped. Thank you, Jesse

Hi Michael, This website explains the terms of the license: http://lexhamenglishbible.com/license/ In short, yes you can print it for your own use, but you can't offer it for sale. So if you're paying someone to print it for you, that would not violate the terms, but if you were to upload the text to a POD provider and sell it that would violate the
I "think" my copy of EEC: James was rented in Logos Cloud. Is it being pulled from Logos Cloud or still offered to Cloud subscribers?
No, it is no longer available in Logos Cloud.
-
Hi Kenneth, licences are not being revoked, so the EEC volume will function as it did before. The Mobile Ed. course is still available for sale.
How will this affect the mobile ed course on James and links to the EEC volume?
-
Hi Bobby, Unfortunately, the nature of the text's problems precluded this option.
-
Hi Matthew, Sorry for this inconvenience. I'll have someone from customer service reach out. Those promotions should be updated, but I don't have confirmation yet on what they will now offer.
-
Hi Jack, we are not revoking licenses, so you are free to keep the current EEC James. You will also receive the replacement EEC James when it is complete (we are currently working on acquiring a new author).

Lexham Press has withdrawn from publication Dr. William Varner’s Evangelical Exegetical Commentary volume on James. We discovered that the volume contains a number of uncited and improperly cited passages from other works, blurring the distinction between quoted and original material. Lexham Press, and the editors of the EEC, are committed to the highest

'Verse by verse' refers to it hewing very closely to the text and covering every verse. It's very much a commentary with a broad view to context and structure. I've been able to read a fair bit of what's been submitted and it's very good. Osborne really brings the fruit of a lifetime of study to bear on the scriptures, but he does it in a way that non

Hi Randy, The Osborne New Testament Commentary will be available in both print and Logos. The prepub that went up today is exclusively for the Logos edition.
-
Randy, yes - books are now in the warehouse and they will be shipping soon. You should receive an email tomorrow confirming.
-
Just a quick note to say this project is on our minds and we will be working soon on rallying some attention to help let others know about it and to get it funded. I'm hopeful we can get it there!

Yes, dynamic pricing will be applied to the overall collection if you decide to later upgrade.
