I guess I can now post this screenshot from a conversation I had on the faithlife chat last night. ... I said I wouldn't post it until it all played out. Considering the Facebook post and everything on here, I think it's pretty well played out.
Jon, thanks - fascinating. Blessings on our friends at FL in the hard

Dan, agree completely, thanks for keeping this visible. I bought TSB (then sold as 'Cook's Commentary") many years ago when a new Christian, and was never disappointed.Three thoughts: 1) TSB contains a very broad (fascinating that though commissioned by the 'official' Anglican Church, one of the Logos review quotes is praise from from The Non-Conformist
Looks like a mistake to me, so for now I have chosen not to pick them up.
Agree, may be real but would love to have the FL folks weigh in. Reminds me of a group of 'Classic Commentaries and Studies' sets that dropped to about $2/volume a few months back...picked up one, then thought perhaps an error and called. In
Side note: We won't be able to make the corrections right away because Dr. Block is back in studio this week and next recording some more courses.
I noticed in the newly released OT312-Book Study: Deuteronomy that there is a bit of buzzing sound appearing at some places in the speaker's voice in some videos I played (For example - How We Talk about Deuteronomy Unit-2, Hearing the Message of Deuteronomy: Recognize the Setting- Unit 4). The audio streaming is not

  • Re: Why bother about Israël?
Israel is important because this was God's chosen nation and through Israel the Messiah (Jesus Christ) has come. The Christian faith is grounded in the Old Testament. You can also see that Israel is a major part of His plan on earth... Every person needs to come to God through Jesus Christ, because salvation is found in no
The subject is not meant offensive, but...why should 21st century christians bother about Israël?
Joining you in not wanting to be offensive, and noting immediately that modern Christians are not required to carry a brief for everything Israel as a modern nation. But on the question of what Israel is in in the sight

  • Re: Summer Sale Code

It was a long (late June-July 19) and complicated sale. Based on the $20 code I received (on about $380 of base packages, not counting other SS items), multiple purchases (in my case, 3) were somehow missed in final totals. Grace and peace. <><

  • Re: Summer Sale Code

Believe original target was 7/26...but I'm sure the complexity of the rebate parameters ($10 per $100 on certain items, over certain period, possible multiple purchases) requires some double checking of each calculation. Grace and peace.<><
...to simply assert one view has taken another widely established view "to task" would seem rather, dare I say, ignorant.
indeed, couldn't agree more. The title is over dramatic, making Bates' NP approach sound daring, a new reformation - and yes, ignorant in that none of the named theologians would ever exclude works
Bump - this a useful expansion (w/ some overlap) of the basic Banner of Truth Selected Works edition And agreed, Jacob - good for those unable to pay for the BP. $51-ish seems reachable
