  • Why non-Catholics should order 'A Catholic Intro to OT'

Pre-Order here: A Catholic Introduction to the Bible: Old Testament (1060 pages) Why might non-Catholics be particularly interested in Brant Pitre and John Bergsma's Catholic Intro to the OT from Ignatius Press? Three reasons come quickly to mind: 1. Reception History - Each book has a section entitled "___ in the Living Tradition." In these, the authors

  • Re: Catholic Bible Collection?

Sounds like a good idea for two simple collections. Perhaps even a third collection could be put together which expanded the 9 Volume Catechism of the Catholic Church Collection with a few other English Bibles (NABRE, ESV-CE, etc)

Morning Prayer for today is missing the Scriptural Reference for the Canticle (Jer 31:10-14). Please note: this is for Volume III >> Four Week Psalter >> Thursday, Week 1 >> Morning Prayer. (The correct reference appears in volumes 1, 2, and 4 on Thursday, Week 1 Morning Prayer) Is the best way to report issues like this the Report Typo function in

  • Lawrence Feingold - 2 sacraments books (Emmaus Academic)

Emmaus Academic has a host of great books published in the past few years. These would be my top two picks (Feingold's Fundamental Theology book is already available in Verbum). • Re: PrePub Calculation Price is Off/Wrong?

Sure enough, when I checked this morning, the pre-pub discount on the collection is higher. Note that the "Total Value if Sold Separately" is now $500 instead of $405. I imagine that the discount for products already owned was reduced for a time when those items were on sale. My only concern with this is that the price of the pre-pub was able to increase

A handful of these volumes in the New City Press translation of Augustine's Complete Works for the 21st Century are included in the Free Book + promotions from Verbum this month . This would be a great time to get the latest volume from this series into Logos/Verbum as a follow up to this month's free book" Vote here: https://feedback.faithlife.com

  • Re: PrePub Calculation Price is Off/Wrong?

I noticed the same, having cancelled the pre-pub for the single volume in favor of the set for a lower price a month back. My guess was that the Memorial Day sale pricing on the other volumes has resulted in a lower discount for dynamic pricing. Once the Memorial Day sale was over, I wanted to double check to confirm my suspicions.
