Sorry for using the forum. As you said, I have already done what Philana suggested and have already contacted Logos by phone and they suggested coming to the forums. Sorry for offending. Stand strong, Karl Jn. 3:30

Thank you. First of all, I never use the sermon editor. Secondly I've had nothing but smooth sailing with scrolling from two side by side windows for years with Logos just using my bible on the right and one document on the left. I preach from those notes. It's very basic. But ever since the new Logos... problems... For months now.

Already spoke with tech support and they say they're working on it. Screenshot is kinda basic. Open your Logos and look at your bible on one side and notes on the other. Been doing it for years. On the newest OS: Mac 10.12.2 and the 'newest' Logos that I just paid $99 for. Weeks now with now ability to use. Anybody know much about Accordance? It's a

  • How much longer will the scrolling in various windows be so choppy and almost non-existant for mac users?

I've been told, "we're working on it..." but really... after just paying for another upgrade I can't even preach from my Logos software anymore because the windows won't allow me to scroll. What little scrolling is possible is very choppy. Have any of you considered going back to OliveTree software? They're pretty good but (as with Logos) they have

  • [resolved] Personal books are not uploading to separate computer

Just began logos within the last year and love it!. I've been saving personal books on my mac desktop using docx files, but when I upload them to my Mac Book Air, they show up after restarting and letting Logos build. But I can't open them. When I do attempt to read them the originally loaded documents, used to build the book, all have a triangle with

  • [resolved] On my mac from within personal books the 'select all' function does not work.

It doesn't 'select all' using the command A keystroke and it won't select all when using the edit, select all, option. As a result, with some of my books being several pages, I have to hold down on my wacom pen and drag through the entire document. Any suggestions.

  • listening to highlighted text on a mac at high speed

Ok, I'm so thankful that on many books I can choose the audio and listen to them at a high speed in order to finish the book more quickly. But I have purchased John MacArthur's entire sermon series and if I wish to listen to the notes I get kicked to their website and must listen at normal speed. Is it possible to, say, highlight the text of one of

  • one verse per line in ESV

Ok, I have gone to the three dots (resource filters) and chosen, "resource" and then only checked the "one verse per line" box. However even after quitting and loading again, I'm not seeing the change. I'm wanting to have the number for each verse show up on the left side only (left justified?). Thanks for any assistance.

  • importing a PDF

So I'm slowly transferring notes from my paper Bible into Logos. However there are charts and drawings that I guess I could recreate in Omnigraffle or something and then save as a PDF but is there a way to import a PDF into a document in one of my folders? And if not... any suggestions? Thanks Jn. 3:30

  • Re: attaching a personal book to a reference

It's just a couple pages of notes I took from an old study on Heb. 6. In trying to learn to create a personal book I thought I would begin with just these few pages to see how it works. Worked fine but I next wanted to attach that "book" to the Heb. 6 reference in my ESVFAITH for future access. That's where I got kinda lost. as a pastor for several

  • attaching a personal book to a reference

New to Logos and have finally created my first personal book but I cannot figure out how to attach it to a Bible reference. I go to documents and don't see it as an option. Sorry this sound so elementary but I'm just not getting it.

  • Multiple documents with one reference cannot be differientiated on iPad

okay, I'm fairly new to Logos. I recently switched from another Bible software and have been painstakingly transferring all my digital notes over to my logo software. I am carefully giving a special "marker"to each new document. However, as in the case of Romans, I have placed five different specially created documents for that intro (Each one having

  • limit to number of pages in notes brought from another source?

Rather new to Logos and while searching the forums on another subject it seemed that I came across one that indicated problems with how many pages could be added to a reference in Logos and still be able to view on iPad. I used to use another Bible software program and have switched to Logos. My hope is to be able to go to all those notes I've set up

  • visual filter not syncing

fairly new to Logos and recently was taught how to create a visual filter which I created with success on my Mac desktop. However upon not seeing it show up on my iPad I deleted the ap and reloaded it. I still do not see the marked visual filter results on the iPad. For experiment I went back to the desktop, highlighted a verse, and upon closing and

  • highlight all the imperative verbs in the NT?

In my third month with Logos after leaving another Bible software company and am impressed but the ole' guy isn't that sharp on learning all this new stuff. But I'm almost sure Logos has the ability to allow me to automatically find all the greek imperative verbs and highlight them, correct? Any advice on how to do that? I'm learning about visual filters
