  • Re: STOP THIS NOW More Massive Update Or Is This Something Else?!!!!!

I live in an area of the USA where it is absolutely impossible to find an internet service offering more than 2 MBps down and 1/2 MBps up. This is a truly rural area also without 4G, so no solution there.. With the total size of updates in the past week, I've had to defer a number of large tasks in order to minimize download time on my wireless connection

It now has been about 15 hours since the update started...48% complete.

Yes, it does seem that an album compared to this update would be approximately a 40:1 ratio, so that would indicate this update would take three to four hours. As suggested, there could also be other buffering issues...anyhow, I'm looking forward to the new features!

Hmm, I am an Amazon customer, and have never seen a download percentage rate this slow from them! Lots of books and music, and usually a minute or two for an album, for instance from Amazon. I have experienced this slowness before when I upgraded my Logos package.

  • Possibility of publishing the TDOT?

I understand that Logos does not yet publish the Theological Dictionary of the Old Testament...is there a chance it might be published eventually?

  • Re: Logos 4 FAQs

For some time I have been looking for, but not finding a list which associates the file names in the resources folder with actual products from Logos. For example, after the recent update, I noticed a file with the name "PPLBBLENCYC" in my L4 resources folder dated 6/28/2010 . I attempted to find a book in the library of L4 which approximated that file

  • Re: Bible Study Magazine???

I am looking forward to my first copy of this magazine. There seems to be a long turnaround between subscribing, and getting the magazine. Perhaps this is just impatience on my part? I'd like to suggest some method of obtaining back issues. Just simply having an archive of PDFs may not be the answer, but perhaps a small fee for access to a limited library

  • Re: Erroneous verse count in graph - non-integral numbers in Excel for verse count

Yes, I see that now. We are really looking at the density of the word "resurrection", if density as such is meaningful. My aging eyeballs missed the division symbol in the Excel graph! As to the actual number derived in Excel, it appears that 10^-2 should be multiplied times the answer. The answer for Matthew 27, where two hits are listed is incorrect

  • Erroneous verse count in graph - non-integral numbers in Excel for verse count

The attachments (screen shots) explain a problem encountered in searching the ESV for occurences of the word "resurrection". The first screen shot below shows how the search was done...no errors there (the display shown is just a part of the actual response given in L4): As can be seen, the graph below does not indicate integral numbers, nor is the

  • Re: Power Point Files

Thank you Philip, I tried your suggestion, but it didn't work. With Power Point running, there still is no response, such as adding a slide. There appears to be no link of any kind from L4 when selecting "Send to PowerPoint". Strangely, I do hear drive activity when I click on "Send to PowerPoint", however there is no screen activity. And a subsequent

  • Power Point Files

Is there a way to configure L4 to save a Power Point file to a specific folder? One of the options for "Saving a Timeline" is "Send to PowerPoint". L4 appears to accept the command, but I cannot find the file, nor am I able to determine where it might have been placed. Any suggestions? I've searched for "Power Point", "PowerPoint" etc. in the forums
