  • Re: Split screen help

I have been using the app for about 3 yrs now. this thread is how I figured it out more thoroughly. The sermon notes issue was just something found in the process of learning the other.

I am starting to think you might be right... I did as you asked and it did seem to work a little smoother. Maybe it is a sermon editor issue in the mobile edition. Playing with it, I did notice that if I open the menu area and then tapped on the sermon, it would make the sermon area change over correctly so that I could change it... What is the best

In the current state, it would act as I described. anything I do, will effect the right side unless I close it. Then and only then can I edit/change the left. i can scroll on the left but nothing else.

Question, if you tap the right side, and then tap a verse reference on the left the right side should automatically just to that location. once doing that, does you left side still work as expected? Just tap on it and make your desired change?

Using iPad Air 2 ios 10.2.1 ios logos version 5.13.1 But i would have to say that I have had the same issue for many versions. Never used split screen before because it has always acted funny.

I understand the theory behind what you said about the greyed out side. I have tried what you mentioned in the past and again after you replied but it has not seemed to help me. I cannot seemingly tap one side and it change which side I came using/editing. If I want to change the left side, I must close the right side to make the change, then reopen

It is iOS in general. It has been the same for many Logos versions. I would assume since the beginning which is why I assume I am doing something wrong.

  • Sermon Editor crashing L7

Hello, I have an issue that has happened since L7 and the sermon editor came out. I was using the notes tools for my sermons before. Now that there is an official sermon editor, I am slowly switching messages over to the editor. Every time I paste, L7 crashes. I open it back up and then the paste works fine. Any thoughts?

  • Split screen help

Good Day, I am interested in using the sermon editor AND have the split screen as my Bible. However, I am having some issues in making it work well. I am guessing the problem is user error. There seems to be a disconnect in what resource I want to change. When I have the split screen open, I can't seem to edit or change the left side without completely

How are you doing the color coding?!? i have been looking for that for quite some time now! As a missionary, my notes are generally in English but I like to emphasize Spanish words in my notes. What you have done would be perfect!

This does not fix the issue at hand. The main issue is that your internal discussion decided to profit extra off of your users by opting us in automatically. An explaination email doesn't fix the issue. It is ALWAYS wrong to automatically opt someone in. The email should be and should have been to let people know this is an option. It should not be

  • Re: Switching from written journals to digital

I have seen the idea of possible distractions. If you do them in logos notes, you stay in one program and are slightly less likely to get distracted. You could make a note at the beginning of the chapter/s you are journaling so that they are always marked and easily accessible as you restudy said chapter/s. Use different colors for ways of marking it

[quote user="Rick Brannan (Faithlife)"] If you have the "Lexham SGNT Syntactic Force Dataset" ( https://www.logos.com/product/57059/lexham-sgnt-syntactic-force-dataset , in Logos Now & Full Feature Set, I believe) you could do the following, which should also work in a visual filter. Looks like this works a bit better at first looks. 2 questions: 1) what would I use for old testament? 2) you mentioned it should work in a visual filter, would I just use this rule in the filter? If I could make that show up automatically, no matter where I am at, I would LOVE it. Thanks

  • Subject of a sentence/verse

i am looking for the easiest way Logos might be able to help me find the noun/subject of each sentence through scripture. In a morph filter I can mark about any type of noun, verb, etc... but can't seem to find one to help look for the correct subject. I can find it occasionally in the word by word for the Greek/Hebrew but looking for something a little
