What would you get if you had about $50 to spend? If it helps: About 1/3 of the way through my Mdiv classes at a SBC school, I like Jonathan Edwards books, John Piper preaching, Crossway's podcast, can't wait for the new Sproul biography, and strangley enough I work at a fundamental baptist church (where ive grown up and stayed at)

Did anyone find anything too good to pass up?

yes, id like to know what you think about the reMarkable when you get it... one thing to make it less tedious is to make the page size as large as possible and the font size as small as possible, and then you get more bang for your buck re the 100 pages limit. there's a thread on here somewhere about the process. will try to find it if no one else comments

I'll go first

Sitting in my office this Saturday morning, supposed to be working on school... and I thought it would be fun to see screenshots of folks' Library window sorted by 'most used' :)

Would love for an easy way to do this for reading on a Kindle Oasis... how are you liking the remarkable?

I'm struggling to decide... there are so many to choose from.

If he sends you that personal email, then fwd it to me :)

How do I delete an item once it is in a folder? I have a folder called. Links. that I put links to webpages. I added one but didn't rename it before hand, so now it looks odd with the full url name. I tried right clicking on it but it just registers as a single click and opens the webpage.

I also would love to subscribe to the Remote library. I however AM a student, but I can't access it because my school didn't offer it once the free trial was over.

I guess the answer is 99.9999% no, but any chance that will go from pre-production into ready by next week? I need it for a class that starts Tuesday 1/19

I'm not smart enough tech-wise to think through everything mentioned above, but I had a simpler and similar thought. The day may/will come when what we believe (and for example a conservative commentary or sermon series on Romans 1) will be called hateful. And while electronic books and software are wonderful, what if the tech companies decided that

I'm not sure if it is entirely original (but I couldn't find one just like it), but I made my own a few years ago. In theory, I read the OT (minus psa and pro) every day at 2 chapters a day. I read the NT at one chapter a day each weekday. And I read a psalm or proverb a day as a 'prayer.' Since there are 150 psa and 31 pro, that are about a 1/2 year

When I click on the link to the book in my pre-pub orders page on my account it goes to a page that says "Weʼre sorry. This is not a product we currently sell."

My kind of thinking. And just think, I posted a comment several years ago that they should make a screensaver with your book covers since I forget what books I even have... how times have changed. What if Logos preaching mode worked with the 'upcoming'(?) Apple Glasses. You could maintain eye contact with the congregation the whole time while the sermon

I have set up the cited by tool how I like it. I thought it would remember my order. When I open various books and/or layouts it looks like it is changing to a 'default' order. Is that how it is supposed to work, or how can I make the tool always show the same list I have selected? I have tried looking at related forum posts, but they all are several

What did Faithlife do when Apple switched from PPC to Intel? How long was it before they announced a plan, etc? Obviously, they made the switch otherwise they wouldn't be here. Im not a software developer, so I have no clue what goes into planning something like this. My claim to computer fame was working part-time at the Apple Store for about a year

what specs did you get? I have the 8/256 but I am torn about what combination of 8 and 16, 256 and 512 would be best... or even just sending it back and waiting to see what comes in the next 6–12 months or so. I always drive myself crazy over decisions like this.

JT, I think it is actually the opposite. If an app has not been touched, then it will show up in the with a qualifier that says it hasn't been optimized for the Mac (something like that I forget the wording). But if a developer does not want their mobile app to work on an M1 Mac they must go into their account/store/app (whatever that looks like for

Greg's video was great to see. The only opinion I can add is that the Air (with no fan) was cool. surprisingly cool. Last night in bed, with the laptop laying on my covers on my lap (no airflow) the thing never even got hot. And that was about an hour of watching YouTube video, some sites in safari, and using Logos.
