Melissa, I just decided this morning to uninstall Logos 4 and reinstall the latest stable version. No more beta for this guy. I'm happy to wait for new features, etc.

  • Mac 4.3 Beta 1 Hangs on Startup & Must Force Quit ** Additional Info **

I've tried starting up with the Home Page: hangs. Starting up with a blank page: ok even if I load a layout, but if I try to go to the Home Page: hang! I've tried restarting, etc., no luck. This is the first real problem I've had since the beginning of the Beta program. Guess my luck finally ran out. 4.3 is my unlucky number. 0820.Logging.zip I forgot

  • Re: Home Page Font in B6

David, Why can't you make the font size user adjustable? I want it bigger because it's ridiculously tiny on my 27" iMac screen. Another user wants it smaller. Make us both happy?

  • Re: Home Page Fonts

Dewayne, I agree with you. I should have been more specific in my inital post that I was requesting ADJUSTABLE font sizes similar to what we have in our web browsers, for example, where we can hit Command + or Command -. Dick

  • Home Page Fonts

Is there a way to enlarge the fonts on the Home Page? If so, I haven't found it. On my 27" iMac, the font size is SO tiny, especially on the "excerpted articles" that reading is a strain. Logos: please allow me to increase the font size if possible/practical. Zooming the page works, of course, but it also blurs the text. Just a suggested enhancement

  • Re: What is going on?

I feel your frustration, but suggest you document your crashes per the instructions provided as they be unique to your system. Personally, I use L4 for Mac several times a day and rarely (and I mean RARELY) experience a crash. I haven't had to report a bug in many months. So...the product is already pretty stable for some users. Note: I am perhaps more

  • Bible Knowledge Commentary: Where is It?

I have been reading The Bible Knowledge Commentary on my iPad for some time now and last night I got a message saying there was an error reading the book (I had previously downloaded it and it was in my "Recent" list) and I wasn't authorized for it. Now I see it's not on the official list of ebooks on the iPhone/iPad. What happened to it? Sorry if this

  • Re: Logos Bible Software 4 has stopped working

Carolyn, I was in the same boat as you when I purchased Logos 4 Mac. The only way I got it working was talking to a very helpful sales guy (Dave Kaplan) who first sent me the dvd even though I had downloaded the program. Then when I received the dvd he walked me through getting it working. There were some complications that I don't even remember anymore

Just one click and they open for me in one of the two panes I have on the right.

  • Re: A15 - Disappering Layout

I also noticed that A15 starts with an empty layout and, although I have no idea how the Windows version works, I personally like this approach. Even better imho would be a way to indicate to the program when you exit how you want it to open next time, either a blank layout or the last used layout.

  • Re: Holman Resources

Perhaps you need to Update Resources a few more times? I also have the Bible Study Library and running Alpha 9 and have all three of the Holman resources in my library. When I first installed Alpha 1, I had 251 resources. After an automatic download and executing Update Resources a few times, I now have 270 resources. I believe the 270 to be close to

I suspect the missing resources are one of the bugs in the Alpha as my Holman Illustrated Bible Dictionary is also missing along with almost 50 other resources.

  • Re: A7-PG Search has slowed to a crawl

This may not be helpful, Joe, but since my PG searches are very fast, I wonder if many of the problems are related to having multiple versions of Logos installed. I have only a clean install of Logos 4 mac and everything works great (what there is) and is very fast. Just wondering.

  • Re: Whose nicked my Favourite Bible?

I've noticed that the preferred bible list is not visible in the opening window. However, if I enlarge the window with the lower right corner, the list shows and works as it should. However, if, after opening the program, I enlarge the window with the green +, the preferred bible list is visible, but only text and doesn't work at all. Very strange behavior

  • Alpha 6 Global Search-Only Partial Results Displayed

This is my first problem post so I hope it's a real problem and that I attached the correct files. From the screen grab, you can see that I tried a search of my entire library (250+ resources) for the word "Jesus" and, although it went pretty fast (134,425 results in 30,310 articles in 1 second), the Library Results window shows only 150 articles.
Richard are you running Logos 4 yet? How is it running?
Yes, I'm running Logos 4 Alpha 5 on my Core i7 with the original 4 GB of Ram. It runs very well. I was disappointed in the constant crashes in 1-4, but Alpha 5 is pretty stable for me. Do I notice any difference between the Core 2 Duo and Core i7? Sorry, but

  • Re: Recommended/Ideal Mac Hardware

DrWBrianCeraolo, My understanding from Logos Tech Support is that Logos 4 Mac will run great on a C2d, but, since it is being written using all the latest OS X technologies, it should run even better on quad-cores like Core i5 and Core i7. How much better remains to be seen. I have a Core i7, but my uninformed guess is that the differences might be
