• Re: Smart Selection Resources in the 5.2 Beta
I assume this was the reason why the resources needed to be updated for the program to know what constitutes a "logical chunk." Can you please confirm that above assumptions? From the list of 10 republished resources to support this new feature, it appears to cover most if not all resource types - Bible, commentary, dictionary, devotional

  • Re: Feedback on "Smart" Selections

Thanks for reporting these situations, Tim. The issue in the NASB occurs regardless of smart selection and there is a case for development to fix it. This happens anytime you select the "end of paragraph" character (the extra space) at the end of a verse (occurs in all Bibles). As for the LEB, the behavior you described is as-designed. Because the sentence

  • Re: Prayer list on iPhone

If you'd like to be able to check off prayer items from your prayer list on a mobile device, you can use https://documents.logos.com/ in the meantime (you can't edit or add new prayer items, however). I bookmark my particular prayer list document and go to that directly each day from my home screen. It's a decent solution for now. Hope that helps, Chris

  • Re: Prayer Lists: How To

Note that although prayer lists aren't available in the iOS app, it is possible to check off prayer items from iOS by using documents.logos.com in your web browser. I use Android, where the situation is the same, so I simply bookmark my prayer list document on documents.logos.com and pin that to my home screen. Hope that helps!

This issue has been fixed on Windows and will ship in an upcoming beta. I was unable to reproduce the issue on Mac, but I am running 10.9.5, so I will see if I can get someone to reproduce the issue on Yosemite. Thanks!

I am unable to reproduce this in Logos 5.3 on Mac OS X 10.9.4. Can you provide specific reproduction steps using the simplest situation? If you can start from a blank notes document and only one or two resources open and go from there, that would be great. Also, if you can include the exact highlight styles you use (its name if it is a built-in style

Mac OS 10.10 (Yosemite) is not yet officially released and thus, is not yet "officially" supported. I am asking for specific reproduction steps to see if this issue is an issue with our software as opposed to an issue caused by Mac OS 10.10, which may still change before being released to the public (and over which we have no control). I hope that helps
Also is Mono (the translation layer that runs the Windows .NET framework on Macs) which Logos uses also updated to 64 bit? That is, is Logos 6 fully 64 bit for Mac users or are we still hobbled with 32 bit Mono/.NET?
Yes, we use 64-bit Mono now. Let me know if you have any other questions and I'd be happy to answer

I cannot reproduce this issue in Logos 6 on Yosemite. Can you provide exact steps for this issue? If possible, start from a blank layout in Logos and then describe each step you take (e.g. 1: open ESV, 2: navigate to John 3, etc.). A screenshot of your application when the bug occurs would be helpful as well (to take a screenshot, press Command+Shift
I just want to select a word at a time, as it did previously.
This is how smart-selection behaves for resources that haven't been updated to include the phrase and sentence data ("not as smart" smart selection, if you will). I imagine the resource that you were using was updated recently and now has this data

  • Re: New Feature: Propositional Outlines

As said before, this is likely an issue getting the needed resources for this feature. This feature requires a data resource. In order for the feature to work, you should have the resource DB:SD-PROPOSITIONAL-OUTLINES listed under the tech support section in your About dialog. It should look something like this: Hope that helps.

Tim, the second issue you described (the one in the LEB) should be fixed with verse-level support for smart selection. This has been implemented internally and will be shipping in a later build. Someone from the testing team will post here when it ships. Thank you!

  • Re: Text Selection

I'm sorry about this. After trying it out myself, I believe there is a bug here. If you keep holding Alt after you finish making your selection, the behavior you are reporting is "as expected" (since you are pressing Alt+L together), but pressing Alt and then finishing your selection and releasing Alt before pressing L is a different issue and is a
