Tell me how to do it, Scott. If you'll notice in Rick's response, the notes have disappeared! This is the same result I get. I assume you're using Logos 9. Gerry

This crops up periodically and I thought I'd revive it. In most Bibles, each verse appears on a new line. However, at least in the NET and ESV, this is not the case. Why? Because it is difficult to accomplish without losing the Bible notes and other details. Puhleeze, Logos, give us at least a NET Bible with each verse on a new line. As James Cagney

https://www.logos.com/basepackages Note: This page used to have ALL the prices on it. I contacted a friend of mine at Logos. I've been a customer since the beginning. Gerry

I just checked and discovered though I own the Silver upgrade package sans new resources, there are resources in the Bronze and the Starter package that I DON'T already own!! Now this AIN'T RIGHT! Gerry
-
Okay, maybe this is my fault, and I'm not really sore about it, but I thought it was worth mentioning..... My computer came up with all sorts of announcements regarding Logos 9 today, so I stopped what I was doing and did some investigating about the new features and the price - I presently have Logos 8 Silver. Wow! I liked what I saw and I could upgrade

I'm sorry; I neglected to add that info.... Windows 10 (latest updates). It's on my desktop. Logos 8.4.0.0047. Okay, I get it! You're right and that never occurred to me. I just saved another named layout with no name and that corrected the problem. Thanks ever so much! Gerry

Here's the screen capture.....

Just noticed this. In my Logos 8 title bar it says the following: "Logos Bible Software - Logos 7 just before update" Does anyone else have the same message? I wanted to include a screen shot, but apparently Chrome has a mind of its own! I restarted Logos, but the message is still there. Gerry
-
Thank you. After trying to post my message to the forum twice and getting an error message about not being able to post it both times, I finally called Logos and got my answer. Had I known the message was posted, I 'd have deleted it. Again thanks. Gerry

(I tried posting this once but was unsuccessful........) I was reading the New American Commentary: Matthew when I came upon a note duplicated here: The note is number 34 on page 352 of the commentary. I have been trying without success to find what the author of the commentary is referring to. I've Googled D. A. Carson for something called "Matthew
-
This might prove difficult. I've been studying the Gospel of Matthew using the New American Commentary: Matthew as a help. Somewhere in the commentary around MT chapter 20 - 23 was a reference to a book apparently by D.A. Carson. The reference is shown below, however I can't find the book that it refers to. Does anyone have any ideas that might help

Thank you. Forgive my naivete in thinking that due to the name of the Faithlife group, I thought you had connections to the company. It happened that the deletion of the post in "Free Faithlife Books" to which I had contributed, affected my feelings toward Faithlife / Logos. I'm glad that now I know different. Gerry
-
At this point, I'm more curious than worried. What is your connection with Faithlife? Is anyone in the group affiliated with Faithlife? I'm curious as to how much faith (sorry) I should put in any comments made regarding the company, its operation etcetera. Gerry
-
I'm completely confused and hope someone can straighten me out. There is a group in Facebook called "Free Faithlife Books" that keeps people informed of the latest freebies from Logos. Now I notice there is another group that is posting in the Faithlife group. Their name is "Brave Daily" and they also seem to be doing the same thing. I'm curious who

I was using Quick Verse, then pretty much switched to Logos when it came out. I think Quick Verse belonged to Broderbund for a period. Anyone know for sure? Gerry

Just fired up my old Gateway to look for something. Thought you old timers might appreciate this. The Logos version is 2.1g. Gerry

In the January/February 2019 issue of Bible Study, Logos has a section announcing "The New Logos is Here" touting Logos 8. On just about every page of this promo, there is a reference to a web page at Logos.com/ChoosePackage which leads us to a Logos 404 Not found page with a cute little lost sheep on it.. You've done it again, Logos.........
-
Folks, you have a broken web page you might wish to fix --> https://www.logos.com/feature-upgrades . I was signed in to Logos. I had ordered the Logos 8 Bronze upgrade and the web page showed me the first photo below. A few days later, it still showed the same prices. I then ordered the full feature upgrade and now it shows me the second photo. I sent

I don't see how the browser can be at fault, however I tried Firefox, Chrome and Edge. I finally got the # of entries to read 1. The instructions on the web page are cryptic! Never mind, I never win anything anyhow. Thanks, Gerry
