Have you noticed the change?
Yes. My default font for notes is not the one showing.
-
Thanks. Has that been reported as a bug? I'm also puzzled by some of the menus. Selecting text and hitting "distribute vertically" seems to have no noticeable effect. Another bug or my failing?

I like Canvas, but I'm getting frustrated with moving text. After pasting Bible text, normally when I select a word and pull the text to the line below, it automatically replicates the line spacing of the previous two lines. But, if I drop it in the wrong place, making the line spacing narrower or wider, that seems to be it. I can never get it back

Early paragraphing makes THGNT very interesting. However, the text is not Byzantine. It is in the tradition of reasoned eclecticism/ critical text. One distinctive feature is that every variant must be supported by two manuscripts with at least one an early one. This means there are no conjectural emendations. It is very different to CGBM. These two

I don’t think it was dishonest. I do think it was confusing.
I totally agree that it was NOT dishonest. I do not think Faithlife ever tries to be dishonest. Obviously, there is confusion resulting in this discussion.
The message I received was not ambiguous or confusing.

[Is] a return of the parallel resources button to its more usable position is being planned/ considered?
It is not planned. Remember that you can use the left and right arrow keys on your keyboard to instantly load the previous/next parallel resource in the same panel.
On my Logos 7 home page, this ad has appeared. I clicked through and found no $100 saving. The parts I highlighted show a promise of an extra $100 discount (not a voucher) in return for an upgrade. What am I missing?

Why has the parallel resources icon been moved to the far right rather than far left where it is much more usable in narrow windows? Why has the parallel resources icon been moved to the far right rather than far left where it is much more usable in narrow windows?
-
Thanks, John. That's what I feared. Even were the ability to scroll across added, to me this is a major reason not to upgrade. I click on this icon dozens of times a day and don't want to have to scroll. I can't understand why it would be moved from the most accessible to the least accessible position. I'd be interested to hear the rationale from Faithlife

I was thinking of upgrading but this thread has made me cautious. Can someone with Logos 8 using small screens comment on the change of the position of the parallel resource sets icon. In Logos 7 it is on the left of a resource window, so as the window contracts it is visible when no other buttons are (e.g. interlinear). In Logos 8 it looks like it
-
That's very encouraging. I'm really looking forward to having it in Logos.
-
Really glad this is now in Prepub. Thanks Adam for drawing our attention to that. However, could it sit there for a long time?
-
Andrew, Thank you for taking the time to share this. I just hope it will be fixed when Logos 8 arrives. Sometimes I get the feeling that Logos is trying to do so many whizzy things which attract people to the software that this detracts from making things work smoothly and speedily. However, you have the benefit of the doubt until Logos 8 arrives!
-
Andrew, Thanks for the update, and for your candor in pointing out that this has been known for over a year! May I ask how Logos prioritises fixing bugs? Is it how many people get frustrated enough to post here? Or something else?
-
I agree that 2 months is a long time. It would be nice if it were fixed with the imminent release of Logos 8. However, for those remaining with Logos 7 it still ought to be sorted without waiting months until the free cut down of Logos 8 is made available.
-
This bug is quite frustrating as I've also been finding - https://community.logos.com/forums/t/171814.aspx It's one of those things I use all the time rather than occasionally. Please can we have an update on when it will be fixed.
-
Thanks Mike for confirming it's not just me. Will someone from Faithlife pick this up from this forum so it can be resolved?

The Text Comparison tool fails to jump properly to a verse in the same chapter as the one displayed, unless that verse is a long way from the current verse. When I first type in a reference to the Text Comparison command bar, the tool jumps to it. The tool also works properly when I type in a reference from a different chapter to the one currently displayed
