I bought this last November and installed in on Win8/64. I installed logos 3 and synced the license. This opened up logos 5 and the files downloaded and no issues. In fact there are a few other resources i have in L3 format that are substantially cheaper to buy (if you can find them) and they work just fine in L5.

Not sure.. Looking at it in my Biblia.com acct (dont have logos installed here) and there are no page numbers or mention of Unabridged vs abridged.

Looks like at least 2 more.. http://www.ubs-translations.org/cat/helps_for_translators/handbooks/english_series/#c751 A Handbook on 1-2 Maccabees A Handbook on Isaiah The price seems a bit high tho? The OT (29 vol) is $400 or $13.79 each and the NT (20 vol) is also $400, $20 each. So $6 for $120 is the same $20 (as the NT) but the normal price (assuming

Mark I want to humbly correct some of the data you quoted.. SATA 2 is 3Gb (not GB/s) thats bits not bytes.. 8 bits in a byte. Also thats MAX the interface can handle, not the drive itself. Most harddrives can only handle 50-100MB/sec. (spindle speed 5400 vs 7200, and access time (seek time) come into play also). External hard drives USB 2 will handle

I have the same offer.. However its confusing.. If I want the missing 7 volumes I can pay $319.95 ----or--- $314.26 if I buy the 15 vol and it gives me credit for the 8 I already have???

I put my bid in over 2 years ago.. Virtually no movement :(
-
Of course I read that and yes I do not have to spend any more money. However, Logos mislead us, saying COMPLETE. I'm sure the L defenders will come out and say otherwise, but lets be honest, COMPLETE means COMPLETE.

https://www.logos.com/product/29830/spurgeon-sermon-upgrade-collection Ok I'm really confused. After spending $75 for the CP version The Complete Spurgeon Sermon Collection (63 vols.) http://www.logos.com/product/18436/the-complete-spurgeon-sermon-collection We now have to spend $30 more????

I don't see the 75% discount
You should never make a purchase—Logos or otherwise—just because of a stated discount percentage. Is the merchandise worth the asking price? That is the question that should govern any purchase decision.
Words of wisdom!! Also, I never believe stated

No movement?

I can access Vine's on Biblia.com, not sure if that helps for Ipad, but I think it will show up also since it is on Biblia.

How about the "Its December and its NOT the Christmas - Christmas sale" ??
-
The only point I was making was that I have purchased a few libronix titles, WBC, ACCS, Preachers Commentary and another I cant think of right now that have been 1/4 to 1/2 of what Logos sells them for. Its the same product. Why would I not purchase them?
-
ok let me rephrase.. L has a monopoly on the production of L products.. yes I am aware of A.
-
Well L has created a monopoly which may help quality, but it does not help price. Why would I not buy the Libronix Disc? Works just fine and if the resources are updated the .logos4 files are downloaded automatically. Besides the more $ I save buying Libronix files the more I can spend on new Logos stuff right?

I actually own 7 or 8 CDs for AGES software, but they are all in PDF format. Which unless I want to make PBBs, they just collect dust.
-
I got my copy of WBC from a 3rd party on Amazon for just under $300, but that was 4 years ago. Couldn't pass on that price.
-
Dominic - Where did that come from? Did you get that from a package?

I have Plat 5 + a lot of extras, but this is on my wishlist (the john hunt deskcollection). Go to know I didnt miss Foxe.
