Spinner 5400rpm > Spinner 7200rpm > SSD Sata III > M.2 Sata III > M.2 NVMe
thank you Mike. The NVMe is the PCIe ones.
I read that even the fastest PCIe aren't all that much faster in a noticeable difference from a good SSD. It's mostly going to an SSD. There's lots of behind the scene stuff with Logos startup including download settings and uploading when you close.
well reading is interesting.. i have both in the same machine and i can
I am assuming this won't work in a laptop
I have one in a laptop. but its a new one with M2 slot

Bill S -- that is what I was refering too.. M2 drives PCIe Gen 3 SSDs. I have a 1 TB and a 500GB drive in a desktop and laptop. They do make SSDs look slow. Samsung 960 EVOs are the best rated IMO, they are roughly $125 for 256GB, $250 for 500GB, $500 for 1TB. WD just released their PCIe drives, but the specs of them are slower by a good bit from the

if you have a newer machine skip SATA SSD and go directly to PCIe Gen 3 SSD's aka M2 drives. But your machine has to have M2 slots. This is a good example of them: http://www.samsung.com/us/computing/memory-storage/solid-state-drives/ssd-960-evo-m-2-250gb-mz-v6e250bw/

It has been a few months now since there were any codes from BSM. That is one of the reasons I subscribed was for the sales on select titles. Now that they have taken that away, its another strange thing that has happened without warning at FL.

https://www.logos.com/product/38876/wea-theological-resource-library-version-3 Thanks!
-
Ben -- thanks for fixing this for me.
-
Ben -- I understand this but i'm still confused. If I were to draw a Venn diagram, the one resource would be completely included in the other resource, so if you own the larger resource the smaller resource would be greyed out..
-
All of these slides are included Unless logos uses different English, clearly this is misleading.. Waiting for Logos to reply. At a minimum the copy on the website needs to be changed.. I can't believe that Dave doesn't see the issue...
-
I disagree.. The slide pack clearly states all of these slides are contained in the other SKU..
-
The text says: https://www.logos.com/product/46972/high-definition-commentary-romans-slide-pack All of these slides are included and exportable in the Logos edition of the High Definition Commentary: Romans . I have the high def commentary romans, so by definition I own the slide pack, but its not greyed out.. is this a bug?
-
This does seem to be a bit high, esp the regularly price of $349. OT req price is $299. So if this was $149 that would be a bit better for a pre-pub.
-
I have the same 3 resources.. the Original is ACCSREVNT06. The name of the resource is REV go figure.. thats the issue.. the original has a resource name of REV.
-
https://www.logos.com/product/52611/nelsons-illustrated-guide-to-religions-a-comprehensive-introduction-to-the-religions-of-the-world Looks like a decent book, 644 pages with lots of pictures.
-
I can confirm this also. The link is pointing to a resource called ACCSNT06 Should be ACCSREVNT06
-
of course I did.. Why are you arguing with me??? I'm done.. Waste of time.
