M2 MacBook Air and M2 MacBook Pro announced yesterday at WWDC. I hope ya'll were there because macOS 13 Ventura was also announced and developer beta released. Apple is eliminating support for all Macs released before 2017 and in some cases all Macs released before 2019 (MacPro). Time to get an Apple Silicon native version
Would I be out of place to ask why it should not be trusted to apply globally?
Certainly not. Like Dave, I'm not sure I fully understand what "Agree on None" means and does. So I can't be confident that it won't have unintended effects in other situations. I know it works here, since it produces the same 50 results
Would you provide a screenshot?
I think this is what he did: While it works in this case, I wouldn't trust it to work in all cases.
I can't think of a way to find where it has exactly two words before it.
I figured it out.

I'm not sure there's a way to find an absolute position in a verse rather than a relative position. You can find the places where δέ has at least two words before it, but I can't think of a way to find where it has exactly two words before it. The way I'd solve this is in a spreadsheet . I find 50 occurrences in the SBL GNT where δε

The Topic field (e.g., topic:marriage ) is mostly unused and likely not to be helpful for most topical searching. The Logos Controlled Vocabulary (LCV) Topic data type is widely used but less often as a direct textual reference/link (i.e., <Topic Marriage> [70]). Normally it’s used to align (a) verses in Bibles with {Section <Topic Marriage>

> Suggest searching Greek New Testament Yes. You'll definitely want to run a search like this in a Greek New Testament. Searching an English Bible for more than a single Greek word is bound to give you inaccurate results. The reverse interlinear data doesn't retain the original text order but instead follows the translation order. That means that

The Grammars Guide section , which is part of the Exegetical Guide but can also be run standalone, does exactly this. You can also run a search for a Bible reference in your grammars .

Our user feedback site at feedback.faithlife.com will be down for a few hours over the weekend while FeedBear migrates to faster, more scalable servers. No need to report anything if you find the site unavailable over the weekend. Just wanted you to have a heads up.

I'm confused, because I see Dt 21:10 in the screenshot you posted. If you can't add it, how did it get added? Here's what I see in your screenshot: 1 Re 11:14 Dt 21:10 1 Re 5:4 Ro 9:18–19 Dt 21:9 Dt 21:11 So, Dt 21:10 is already clearly in your list, which is why you're unable to add it again.

I see it as the second item in your list. It's most likely not inserting, since it's already there and we don't allow inserting the same passage twice. You can drag and drop to reorder the items.

I'm in 100% agreement that Factbook should show you all the defining content (headword + definition/discussion) in your library from your dictionaries, encyclopedias, glossaries, and monographs and other resources with embedded glossaries. It's been an ongoing task to provide complete coverage, but we're not making progress as fast as I had hoped. I

There are lots of ways to explore the New Testament's use of the Old Testament in Logos. The New Testament Use of the Old Testament interactive resource is a good starting point. The Bible Books Explorer interactive resource also has a nice interactive visualization of the connections between the books, which link to searches. You can build your own
But it's not quite there yet.
Yes. It's more like a prototype than a fully functioning feature right now. If you know how to use it, it works pretty well. But there are plenty of places where you hit a brick wall.
Maybe you could give us a hint as to what it is / does so that we do not just

Thanks, Steve. You're welcome to use it and then take the survey. Some parts of the survey are still relevant even if you haven't used it. You can skip any questions that don't apply. Thanks!

Matthew, here's the other thread where we were discussing this. We'd love your feedback there.

If you clear the "This Year" filter, do the missing sermons show back up? It's possible that the new sermons don't yet have a date set and are being filtered out of the current view.
