Yes, we're looking into it. It's likely an issue with the resource.
-
Do you have the resource downloaded or not? If not, can you please download the resource (from the library) first and try? Upon first inspection, it appears that we are trying to download the entire resource (in very small chunks) if you are streaming it (i.e. it isn't downloaded to the device).

David, just to verify, your iPad is online and connected to the internet? That would be necessary in order to download new licenses that will enable this feature. You might try force-quitting the app and re-launching in order to force fetching any license updates. You should see a button in a reference scanner set of results that says "Save passage

Karl, looks like a bug on mobile. We'll look into it.
-
Ken, pushed a beta that should fix these issues I think. If you remember, how did you create this reading plan in particular? On mobile? On desktop?
-
Thanks for the reported crash, we will investigate.
-
Thanks Kenneth, I'll try to repro this. In the first screenshot, if you rotate the view or try to scroll, does the resource text display?
-
Hi Karl, if you'd like to try the beta, this issue has been fixed . Otherwise, the fix should reach the stable version of the app sometime in the first half of January.
-
I suspect this is related to this thread .
-
Graham, go ahead and send me your logs (first name dot last name at faithlife dot com). I'll take a look to see if there is anything that might explain what you were experiencing. I don't believe anything changed in this particular beta related to preaching mode.
-
Thanks for the feedback, I agree that the user experience isn't great. It needs improvement, and we'll take a look at it.
-
This is not currently supported on mobile. Feel free to suggest here: https://feedback.faithlife.com/boards/logos-mobile-app.

JT is correct that sorting the library by Recent will currently place new purchases in the mix. The way this happens is a bit of a hack, and it is one that we are hoping to remove in the not-so-distant future. We plan to introduce Added and Last Updated facet filters to the library similar to desktop. That will become the way to look for new resources
-
This should be fixed in 9.1, which is currently in review with Apple.
-
The reason for the discrepancy is that we don't support creating reading plans on mobile for all resources. We support a subset of resources that can usually be broken down easily into something like a chapter. Daniel answered which types of resources are supported in this thread .
I also have a lot of layouts that I believe are local data.
Layouts are synced and so should survive an app re-install (or installing on a new device of the same platform).

No, there is no iOS shortcut support in the L9 app. We had a lot on our plates for this release, so we weren't able to get to some things we'd like to do (like iOS 14 widgets). If you are interested in shortcut support, it would be helpful to add it to https://feedback.faithlife.com/boards/logos-mobile-app, and to provide some specific cases/scenarios

This isn't currently supported. Feel free to suggest at https://feedback.faithlife.com/boards/logos-mobile-app though!

You might also try rotating the screen and back as a work around.
