  • Re: Help: Any one know of a PDF to word program that I can use for my personal books?

JT replied while I was trying to compose my response. The quality of the PDF he mentioned was what I was trying to elude to.

While I have not really used it much, I bought Abbyy FineReader todomy conversions. Mostly on the recommendations of the man who runs a (the most popular) web site for (Public Domain) resources for a very popular free bible study software. They have thousands of resources and his main conversion software from scans (or PDF's) is Abbyy FineReader. What

  • Thoughts on John Walton's book "Ancient Near Eastern Thought and the Old Testament"

As per the title I would like some thoughts on John Walton's book "Ancient Near Eastern Thought and the Old Testament". I see that he has two versions of this book now and that both are included in this months Author Spotlight sale. I own neither one. In your opinion is one edition better than the other? If so which one and why? Is there enough differences

  • Re: Malachi: God’s Unchanging Love

I would agree with DAL here that it re-phrases a lot. I have the Preacher's Commentary (same resource, different software) and tried to find the same passage in that resource as is displayed in the sample from the pre-pub. I have included it below. Snip-it... Chapter One—A Call to Respond to God's Love Malachi 1:1-5 1:1 The burden of the word

Thanks Brother... I guess I have not been shoping for a little while and missed that update to the web sites. I do remember now that F.L. had said that a change was coming I just didn't look too hard for it. A nice improvement indeed!

  • "&unlocked=no" Solution?

Hi All, I did a quick search for this to be sure that I am not repeating something already posted but did not see anything. Maybe I just missed it, but..... I have discovered the solution to "unlocked=no" not working on the ebooks.Faithlife and Lexham press websites. It is to use: &ownership=owned &ownership=unowned &ownership=all ...respectively

Very similar to what I was thinking. I was not sure how to work discounts for the "Non-Winners". Maybe instead of forgetting the discounts, do offer them "IF" they are pre-purchased. This way LOGOS actually has their money up front. I don't know.

I do won this "Collection/series" and I think that I did get it as part of a base package. While I do "not agree" (an understatement) with some of the theology espoused in this work, I would hang on to it as material to use as examples of either poor scholarship or just plain "way-out-there-ness" and if my comments violate forum rules on no theologizing

A really quick G OOGLE search shows that QuickTime Player (bundled with macOS - which means that you should already have it) has screen recording capability buried under a number of menu choices. I am not at home to try this right now but you can check it out for yourself here . I have tried using ScreenCast-O-Matic myself but find that I had audio
