• Help a Non-Spanish speaker find resources (Spanish Bible + RI)

Hello, I am a non-Spanish speaking person who wants to do the following. I want to have open on one side an English Bible w/RI and on the other side a Spanish Bible also with RI. What I want to do... click on an English word in one bible and have the corresponding Spanish word be highlighted by utilizing the underlying lemma. I "Think" this will work

  • Re: collection library selection

Here is something to note which I just learned a few days ago. The "Subject:" field is a Subject/Description that the Library of Congress applies to the resource and NOT what Logos/Faithlife would say it is. If you have a resource that you believe should be in that subject category and it isn't you would need to add a "mytag:" to that resource (the
Morris believed John wrote the Gospel that bears his name. With the Hunter quote he was just presenting evidence For and Against John’s authorship. DAL
Hi DAL. As I stated above I did a Really, Really, REALLY fast (shallow) gloss over the text. I did not have time to sit and digest it properly so did not want to state

  • Re: Morris on the Gospel of John

Are you asking about Morris or Hunter? Hunter's view is obvious in what he is quoted as having said. As far as Morris is concerned he lists arguments both for and against John being the author. The Hunter quote is, I believe, simply part of the many arguments Morris is listing and he is neither endorsing nor rejecting said argument. After a really

  • Re: how to use commentaries - the non-Bible ones

P.S. Click on the "Collections" section to reveal the "Settings" drop down menu on the right hand side. There you can select the "Collection" that you want the Passage Guide to use. Note that you can add Multiple "Collections" sections to your Passage Guide so you could have a section for each "Type" of Commentary or resource that you may have tagged

  • Re: how to use commentaries - the non-Bible ones

You can try something like this if you want to. I got this technique from a Morris Proctor Logos training video. He calls those types of resources Non-Versified, as in they are not indexed on bible reference or Bible milestones. 1) You need to apply a tag to each resource. Use whatever you like but he recommends "Commentary:Non-Versified". 2) You then
And the red helped!
Your Welcome... This resource also has a couple interesting points... The International Standard Bible Encyclopedia (ISBE), 1915 Edition ============== Judah was the fourth son born to Jacob by Leah in Paddan-aram (Gen. 29:35, etc.). Of this patriarch’s life only scanty details remain
I don't know what I don't know. Can anyone point me in a direction? Maybe I should just drop this, but I am not quite ready to do that. I never noticed that it is Leah, not Rachel, that is the line of Jesus. I am following along in a reading plan with a church and the Pastor's comments about Leah and Judah have set off a

Kevin, I am not Faithlife so my answer is Far-Far from official. You need to actually call them to get an official answer. I can however provide a few possible clues. 1st the Tyndale OT collection included in the L9-Gold package is a partial collection, and this was indicated by a half-filled circle following its entry on the product page (see image

I like Frank Peretti. For overtly spiritual content look into "This Present Darkness" and "Piercing the Darkness". I have read both 2 or 3 times already. I also like C.S. Lewis. His space trilogy was ok, but the third volume (That Hideous Strength) was some-what dry for me. Thumbs up on Screwtape and The Great Divorce. Of course can't fail to mention
