Heath, I have heard about that BG product, but never used it. My idea with spaces was more about assigning floating windows to open in specific spaces, thus creating a saved layout that operated among different spaces. It appears that is not possible in Mac.
Did you watch the video I posted above?

Tried saving my floating Library window on Space #4 with my L4 on Space #3, but when I restored from the saved Workspace, the Library defaulted back to Space #3. So I will just reiterate my strong desire to have L4mac take advantage of both Expose and Spaces. Saving workspaces and custom PG searches

Joe: Here is the BibleGlo video like some of the UI features but I like these features: Has media browser option that separates different media types, video, pics etc. I like the interactive timelines and the videos.

So you are downloading the disc image to install it or have you run the installer and you got stuck on the download of your resources? I assume that you installed from the disc image and got stuck with the blue logos icon loading your books. If this is the case. Trying reopening logos 4 and typing "update Now" or "update resources" in the command line

  • Re: bibles not loading from passage guide
The link set between the Bible and the commentary;passage guide must be manually set to link set A for it to follow the Bible/Commentaries. However, keep in mind that linking the passage guide to a Bible can slow things down as it will regenerate every time you move your Bible I just notice that you posted in the Mac forum

  • bibles not loading from passage guide

So when I search for a passage from the home page my preferred Bible opens to the passage. Once the passage guide is open, I try to change passages , the commentaries/cross references change to show what I typed but the Bible and open commentary won't change. Do I have to go to the front page every time?

  • Re: Basic Searching

I did what you had suggested Joe which was match videos to the list of active L4 Mac components. Then tried it out. I understand it won't be right but I thought posting here would be beneficial in getting those small elements up to speed.

  • Basic Searching

So I viewed the video on L4's basic search and performed a basic search on "purgatory". I noticed that the search doesn't populate potential matches as I type as it does in the Win version. More importantly though, the results show up but do not open when I click on the article titles it only opens when I click the highlighted search word in the preview
Hi, I did a search and can access them in my library so it is not an issue of the resource not being available on the servers. Try this just to confirm, type in the Library search window the following title:basic questions on and see if you get this let me know if that works.
Hey Joe: You are a harder worker here on

Ok so the index completed and I am with 338 resources. I have found my Apologetics Study Bible. Does anyone have an accurate count for the # of resources I should have in the Leader's base package. Also How can you be sure that all the commentaries and such are loaded? Thanks for the help.

  • Do I have to wait ?follow up to my last post

Ok so I finally got the update to run through and it is in the midst of indexing. Instantly I went from have 280 resources to 338. I am still not seeing any interlinear bibles nor am I seeing the Apologetics Study Bible which is listed with all base packages. Is this a matter of waiting on the indexing? Should I try to run an update resources again

Yea I switched to Mac a little over a year ago and I pride myself in not having to use any Microsoft products on my machine. Not that I hate Windows. My degree was in computer science and was all based in Windows and I have used everything from DOS and 3.0 on up. However I just haven't found a real need to run a virtual machine or a bootcamp partition

Sorry I guess me being the newest Newbee makes me confusing to people who actually have all this figured out. Logos 4 Leader's Library was my first purchase and I am currently downloading what seems to be the remainder of my library that didn't load Saturday night. I too noticed on my order screen that Apologetic's Study Bible was listed but it wasn

Well it is running a 2G update now I am about 50% there. I think my issue was probably that my computer went to sleep on me or something and the install didn't complete. Can you tell me if the Apologetics Study Bible is currently available? That is my personal Bible of choice right now and would love to see it in digital format. Lastly, (for now) I

Thanks Laurence, I am running the update resources command it appears to be downloaded something. I had tried that before but it ran a search on "update resources" because I didn't wait for it to populate that command. I do want to preface my previous post that I have the Mac 1 engine only. Logos 4 is my first purchase. I downloaded the Mac 1 engine

  • I don't have all my books - Leader's Library

I downloaded L4 on Saturday night. I turned off sleep mode and installed it overnight. With the understanding that this a Alpha release I don't think I have all my books. In my Library it lists on 295 resources and in my Bible selection it only lists 15 or so. In particular the ESV Bible doesn't show. I tried typing ESV in the command line but the book
