Now that's a great question! I assumed it had, but now that you've asked the question, I see that there aren't page numbers but only references to the paragraph numbers. I guess I'll have to build this reading plan manually. I'm a bit surprised that Faithlife hasn't really implemented a way to deal with this by now, but I'm probably not appreciating

I am using the Generate a Reading Plan from the Docs->New->Reading Plan menu item in the Verbum 9 (Platinum) Desktop application. I am not generating the plan by right-clicking the title. The book I am generating the plan for is the Vatican II Documents (VAT2DOCS). However, the reading plan that is generated has one article every few days (often

Sorry for the slow response! I am, in fact, referring to Bible reading plans. While I agree that the system does a very good job of containing an entire pericope -- it is far from unusual to encounter a break that isn't easy to follow without the larger context. I sometimes run into breaks that occur in the middle of a sentence -- of course, it would

I have to agree with some of the other remarks about the new reading plan format. I can't say that I'm sold on it -- it feels like you have to put more effort into getting things done and without any benefit. The visual filter model seemed to work well as it is. My biggest issues are: 1) The new 'focused' model takes up more screen real estate (especially

I think I may have figured out the issue. The recent update appears to be coincidental, not causal. I recently started testing an iPad on which I've installed Verbum. On the iPad, there is an option to turn the Reading Plans on or off in the View Settings. There is not a similar option on the Android version that I can find. On the iPad, I've had a

I reported this through the app, but wanted to follow up to see if it's just me, or confirmed. All of my daily reading prompts (Start here / Done) are missing since the latest build was pushed out. I'm tempted to remove and reinstall the app to see if that fixes things, but hate going through all the reconfiguration and redownloads. Any suggestions

I'd go for those, too.

+1 I really strongly prefer the old font. This one lacks the elegance of the previous one.

I agree that this method of changing font size is unworkable. I don't know why CTRL-Scroll (I don't know what it is on Mac) can't be used. I have multiple monitors with different DPI attached to my laptop (depending on whether I am at home or in the office), and it's frustrating that I have to keep clicking and scrolling through menus to switch the

Yeah... I'm not too fond of the new layout, either, most especially the home page. It's one reason I don't use the online version for anything other than a quick lookup. I loved the old home page format, and found it somewhat addictive. It looked informative (even if it was trying to sell product). The new one is just looks like ads, ads, ads. It also

Hi MJ! Sorry... I feel like I know you a little, as I see your name pop up all over the place. Yes, I'm on Verbum desktop. I did try the wear marks, and went back to check again after your reply, but only a couple wear marks are visible, and they are too early in the book. However, you pointed my eyes in the right direction, and I discovered the 'pane

I have been reading one larger book on and off for the past few weeks or so. I had gone back to an earlier section of the book to refer to something I had previously read. Now when I re-open the book (several weeks later) it opens to the 'earlier section' and I have forgotten where I stopped reading. Other than the percentage read indicator, is there

Great! I've started the download now. I never realized how much I use the app each day... I've missed it. Thanks, --J

That was fast! Thanks for the update. All the best, --J

I do try to throw them here, too. The feedback app does allow for the log files to be sent at the same time, so that's why I sent them along. It takes me longer to get to the forums, however! I usually get distracted by work questions when I get to my desktop with a real keyboard. Thanks, --J

I'm having the same problem with the RSVCE2 and the NJB in the Verbum app on Android 6.0.1 running on a BlackBerry Priv (Android phone, not BBOS). I've cleared out all the data and cache, removed and reinstalled the app. It will let me in until I try and use a reading plan, after that I can't stop it from crashing when it starts up. I see that there

Sorry... just saw the 'how to post a good Android bug report'! I hope I described the problem adequately above. I get the 'Done' prompt at the end of each reading in a reading plan except at the very end of a title when there is no prompt present. The app otherwise runs as expected. I'm running multiple Android devices 4.4.2 and 5.1.1 are the two I

Hi... I *did* do a search first and didn't find anything, so my apologies if I've missed a pre-existing message on this topic. In the desktop application, I can mark the reading from the last day of a reading plan as 'done' and the book shows as 100% complete. In the Android app, I can mark up to and including the penultimate reading for the plan, but

Thanks, Dan! Those are great suggestions... I'll give them a try and see if I can get them hooked! -J

I'm trying to get a few friends into Verbum, and introduced them to both the Android/iOS app and the desktop. However, it appears that you can only access the free app titles from within the app itself. Is there a reason for this? I can see a marketing reason for it, but I can see a better marketing reason for allowing access to all books associated
