I'd love to see this move into production! Looks like a great resource. https://www.logos.com/product/29691/the-bible-in-seven-acts-with-slides

Thanks! I love W.L. Craig.

Thanks everyone. Very helpful info.

Awesome thanks! It's a great start indeed. That gave me 994 books to start with.
MJ is right. That being said, works published prior to 1923 are generally in the public domain in the US. To get a good idea (note: not a perfect list) you can search/create a collection like this: Again... this isn't guaranteed to be completely

Ok, can you tell me what those rules are? And the decades to look for?
No, there are rules that would get you one's that were certainly public domain but there are several decades that would have to be checked book by book -- that's assuming you mean public domain in the US; other nations have different rules.
Is there a search string I can use to get them all? What criteria should I search for?

James, I made my qualifying purchase on Nov 28 and received the free Mobile Course email on Dec 3.
Thank you very much Cynthia, and may God bless and show you favor for 2015!
You're welcome, and thank you very much for the blessing.

Thank you!

Also, where do I go to see errors in PBs?
After building book, can click "View log file..." to see messages: This PBB file has one warning: 3581.Behold the Lamb - PBB.docx For description, copied initial post in this thread => https://community.logos.com/forums/p

Ok, thanks for checking. I've fixed those two scriptures that had the extra colon at the end. As far as the Unable to apply topics error, I have no clue. That's the section titled "Zechariah Praises in Song" Luke 1:67-80. I don't see anything wrong with it in the Word document, and in Logos it links to the scripture correctly. So I guess it's not doing

Thanks Travis. I've compiled the book many times and can't duplicate these errors. At what point in the process do they pop up and are you possibly on a Mac or something other than a PC? Has anyone else received these errors?
Thanks! BTW you have a cpl errors in the file: [Warning] Unrecognized milestone Bible: Mt 15:21

Lol....These are hilarious!

Got them a bit early, but purchased Standard Gold and then Baptist Diamond and then Anglican Bronze. In addition, I purchased the Understanding the Bible commentary set. Yeah.....I think I'm set for awhile, though I really want to get Reformed Diamond as well. Logos books are addictive! Smh.

Great tips. I was just asking myself this same question yesterday. Now that I've got all these books, I want to READ many of them in full.
-
My pleasure! I hope you all enjoy it.
-
You're welcome, Bruce. And you've just reminded me there are several books in that forum I meant to download as well.
-
You are already published professionally, why not look to Logos/Faithlife to publish here also?
Thanks Erwin, yes I plan to explore that but I wanted to wait until I get a few more books published. I'm working through the whole Bible and I've got Genesis and Exodus completed. The next print book will contain Genesis

Hi everyone, the book is in the Files forum. Merry Christmas! https://community.logos.com/forums/t/98262.aspx

Hi everyone, I wanted to share my own published book with you, available on Amazon in print and on the Kindle. It's a unique harmony of the Gospels told in narrative form, from Jesus' birth to death. It's my own translation, and I didn't follow any particular book for the order of events. I used them as a guideline, but essentially did my own thing

I'm having the same problem. I can't make a change and then recompile in the same session. I have to exit Logos, go back in, open the PBB book builder again, recompile and then it's fine. I've gone through this process 4 or 5 times tonight and it works the same way every time. So I came here to ask whether it was a bug or just how recompiling works
