T he quick explanation is that by clicking library, and then clicking "all resources" you can open any collection. At that point you can tag within the collection, or the whole collection, or individual books.
Awesome, thanks! That's exactly what I was looking for.

Ok, I'm starting to slowly understand. I've got most books in Collections now thanks to the groups. But there's apparently no easy way to make sure every book is in a collection, so for that reason I can see the reason for tagging. And it looks like there's no way to tag all the books in a certain collection? It seems like the library could identify
You won't see anything in the Library panel but you should see something in your list of Collections. Go to Tools -> Collections, click the "Open" button and you will see a list of Collections which should include the one you have copied. Select that and you will see all the resources you have in your Library which match

Can any of you explain how the Collections groups in Faithlife work? I joined one group, but am unclear about what to do. I clicked on a document and got a copy. Is that all I need to do? What should I see in my library to know that I've done the right thing? lol Maybe the groups can include a tab that has instructions for those of us who are new?

  • Re: What happened to Topic Search in Logos 6?
Other than the Topic section, what else are you missing?
The visible Work offline option is missing. Now you have to hit Ctrl something to start Logos up when not online? Being able to just select that option was very convenient.

  • Re: What happened to Topic Search in Logos 6?

This brings to mind a question I've been wanting to ask: Why does each new version of Logos "remove" things? Yes, very helpful things are always added, but I don't understand removing features. I admit there may be a lot of things I don't understand on the backend, and I guess they have their reasons. Still, my idea of an upgrade is to keep what I had
every time now Logos has a new Mega pack or package, the "new to you" feature should be automatically enabled. This should be STANDARD now not just something we get randomly.
Yes, with that many resources, I'm not motivated to check my library for each title to see what I don't have.
I think one of the things which would help sales most would be the option to get the equivalent discount of dynamic pricing by deselecting content from the base package which we don't want. I think you also need to add dynamic pricing to be able to purchase more than one base package at a time. I have built what is for me

Cynthia, keep asking and it will be given to you; keep searching and you will find; keep knocking and the door will be opened to you! But seriously, I can relate to your post. Not because anyone has been rude, but because some of the responses to questions are just way too technical for the average user. When I saw your post, I immediately thought of

Oh I see. I didn't scroll down far enough to see that orange button; I just clicked on the blue title link. I'll know for next time.
I didn't have to. All I did was click "get it free" in the email and it automatically goes into your cart with the code already in place.
Extremely good points! I'd like to get my daughter started on Logos, and since I'm a writer, could easily see needing an assistant at some point, Two thumbs up for these ideas.
I understand why folks say they want to own. People want to have confidence that access isn't taken away for whatever reason. I have those same feelings

I'd like a rent to own option, but I wonder how it would be different than the payment plan I'm on now? I guess renting would be cheaper? I'm viewing the Rent Logos Resources page now to get an idea of how that's already working. EDIT: OK I've checked it out. The Classic Commentaries are on my wish list. (By the way, the link to this set on the rental

I just upgraded to Baptist Diamond last night, so I now have the complete set. I wonder if I had waited until today and got these two books first how much I would have saved on the package. (I'm sure not much, lol)

See, I should have stayed away from Logos forums this weekend. I had no intention of buying anything, but this set is on my wishlist, and I want it VERY much. This discount is too good to pass up, so I'm buying. See what you guys have done?

It has run Logos 6 fine, but has been a little slow on start up.
One of the most important components to have is a fast hard drive. At these prices, you aren't getting an SSD (which is what you really will want). Do any of these have 7800 RPM HDD?
i don't know. I can check, but
