• Re: BUG: Hyperlinks Not Detected in PBB

To this day, compiling personal books which use hyperlinks for footnotes is a hit-and-miss. Could we please address this??
Thanks for the report, Vadim. We haven't done any work to optimize Logos for touch screens, but it's one of several competing areas of improvement under consideration.
Will it be than a while until this is fixed? i think this issue should fall under the category of BUG not optimization. And it should be an easy

  • BUG: Touch Keyboard Disappears

When using Logos 8 on Win 10 in touch mode, touching the reference field of a resource automatically brings up the touch keyboard (as it should), but then, at the twinkling of an eye, it is suddenly hidden again as the suggestion field appears below the text entry.

  • BUG: Clearing Notes Filter

After going into Notes & Highlights for a specific resource, selecting "Highlights" gathers all the highlights in that resource. However, after then clearing "Highlights" flag, the view does not update back to the full text. The bug exists on both windows and mac (latest build). In the image bellow you can see that there are no flags, but only highlighted

Bradley, have you been able to reproduce the bug with the attached file?
No. I took your file, created a Personal Book, compiled it, set it as my top prioritised resource, and all Bible links used it, as expected. The Personal Book (Bible) does appear on Windows, but it is not being used for Bible hyperlinks.

It looks like the logosres: is not working properly in the latest version of Zotero (5.0.45) and Logos (7.14). The URI simply opens Logos on my mac, but not the actual resource.

  • Re: BUG: Personal Book Images Appear Too Small
The screen shots you provided above show that the text size as well as image size are smaller, so the panel/tab menu font slider may be set to the left of "default". This does not affect other panels in your layout, but the only way to change image size relative to font size is in the docx document.
Dave, Here you

What I have described falls more under a BUG issue than a feature request. And it’s a simple bug to fix, by the way.

This is not a a practical solution for larger books with many images.

But the issue is relative size. Program and Content scaling increases the size of both text and image. This would require making the text too large for the images to appear normal or legible.

Dave, Thank you for the hint, but as you mentioned, changing the wrapping setting does not resolve the generation of small images. Hopefully Faithlife will fix this.
When building PBB docx or examples in Word (I have 2016) after inserting picture I use their 'picture tools' to adjust size and sharpness, also i have found it extremely helpful to make all my margins 1/2 inch., this works better for formatting.
I concur that the image is smaller when imported (relative to the text), although some of this is an optical illusion. It looks bigger or smaller depending upon the size of the text & panel. I have not heard of anyone else complaining about it, so I am unsure if the issue is specifically with the formatting of images
