  • Re: From One Note to Word to Logos?

I figured it out. You can't use the export feature from Onenote to Word, and you can't select all, copy, then paste. The only way Logos will allow the bullet points to stay intact is if you manually drag your selector down the full length of the Onenote document, then copy and paste into Word.

  • From One Note to Word to Logos?

Hi, I'm attempting to compile some of my class note. I write them in One Note, then I send them over to word to add headings and convert them to .docx. This part works fine, but the problem arises when I build the personal book in Logos. Logos removes all of my bullets from the document. How can I prevent this? Thanks!

  • Re: Create a Reading Plan That repeats a section

Read by Chapter every day starting today and finishing in 1050 sessions. I changed it to 150 weeks, no change. I noticed after I attempt to add 2 sections at 60 days is when the plan starts to get odd. It will assign 25 days to the first section and 35 days to the second section. I guess the tool isn't designed for this as Jeremy says. Thanks!

  • Create a Reading Plan That repeats a section

Hi, I want to add the Macarthur reading plan to Logos. You read one NT book for 30 sessions in a row, then you move on to a new book and repeat. I've tried to recreate this in logos by manually adding each daily reading session and then making the plan equal to the number of sessions for example: 35 sections to be read 30 times each, 1050 reading sessions

  • Re: Search discrepancies

That makes sense. So clause search is more like syntax light, and uses the same clausal outlines for the search? Thank you so much!

  • Search discrepancies

Hi, I've been doing a lot of digging into the search features of Logos lately. Why do I get two different results when running, what seems to be the same search, in Bible and Clause respectively? For example, When I run this search in Clause using the SBLGNT: person:God person:Jesus person:Holy Spirit I get 10 results. The search range is the same.

He would come under the critical scholarship category, not liberal :) such a collection would come down to a list of authors, most are obvious, though as you have both said, there is some room for subjectivism, but I think it is only slight. It simply comes down to the way they view and handle the word of God. It seems to be a collection I will have

  • Collection of "Critical and Liberal Scholars"?

Could someone point me to, or even make a rule for a collection of critical and/or liberal scholars. They are starting to be prominent in the theology world these days, an example is Michael Bird. I would like to be able to mark my resources that are written by one of these authors. Thanks!

  • Re: How to easily cite paraphrases of Logos resources in MS Word?

Thank you both for the information, it seems the best way is to keep my sources organized in Logos, pulling them out as I use them, and placing them into the Word Document. Then, at the end including the works cited page which can be pasted from Logos.

  • How to easily cite paraphrases of Logos resources in MS Word?

Hi, I'm starting school soon and I have a few questions. I know you can copy and paste a quote from Logos and it will automatically be added to footnotes in MS Word. How do I cite a paraphrase I make of a Logos quote, not being able to copy and paste like a direct quote? Also, is there a way to add my Logos bibliography to Word so that I can easily

  • Re: How to search for all events in a resource

Thanks a lot! I was playing around with the wild card but must have had my syntax wrong. The highlight searching is just what I needed. About the events, I only threw the Bible out as an example, I just think it would be interesting to use inline search and bring up all passages linked to an event. Thanks again!

  • How to search for all events in a resource

Hi, How would I go about searching for all events in a resource? I ask because I want a list of timeline events included within John's Gospel for an example. Also, how could I apply this to searching for all highlights general and specific applied to a resource? Thanks!

So, is this bundle heavy on "emerging church" resources? I have only found a few obvious ones, but I know Zondervan has taken an interest in the movement lately.

  • Re: Duplicated "hits" using Syntax Search?

Is there a way I can avoid the duplication? For example, if I want a quick count on how many times God gives a command and don't want to scroll through all the results, as an example?

  • Duplicated "hits" using Syntax Search?

Hi, When I use the syntax search using Andersen-Forbes Old Testament, I get back duplicated hits when searching for a Lexeme. For example: Gen 1:1-3, 1 hit Gen 1, 1 hit Both are the same. Is there a reason why this is happening? the video I am following to learn the syntax search feature does not have this issue. I am duplicating it exactly. Thanks

  • Evangelical Only Collection?

Hi, As my library increases so do the resources which I consider to be written by those of non-evangelical tradition. These are helpful for research and culture study, but at times I would like to ignore Non Messianic Jewish tradition and Roman Catholic tradition etc... in my search results. Does anybody have a way to do this on a large scale? Thanks

  • Call to More Cohesiveness in the Software

I have implemented my own nomenclature/file-system for my documents. I use my Favorites folders to keep everything organized. This requires a lot of manual work which could save a lot of time if it was implemented into the software. One thing I noticed about Logos: its harder than it should be to find your information, such as a specific note, when

I find that when I drag my Label highlight note from one document to another, the label vanishes from the note. Also, when a label is attached to a note which includes a passage as its reference point. The results from searching that label will not be found in Bible search.
