  • Re: Let' move this remarkable resource

Glenn, I agree wholeheartedly. I had at least a couple of the sub-bundles marked if I remember correctly. This one will be tough. I'm in for now because I really like this author. As much as I want this I'm actually hoping it takes a little time to build so I can save up. :)

  • Re: End of Community Pricing?

I have thoroughly enjoyed CP over the years. The Loeb edition resources have been great for me as well as the apologetics, church history, systematic theology, church fathers and philosophy offerings have all been welcome additions and I hope to add more still (especially the Loeb editions that still haven't come out yet). As someone with limited financial

Robert, Thank you for responding. Interesting! So they were processed but what Matthew appears to be saying in regards to the problem they are having is that the bundle associations of certain journals are what they need to sort out. In the meantime, the journals that did download will keep me plenty busy. The Syriac journals are of special interest

Matthew, Thank you for your quick response. I just wanted to find out what was going on. It's not like I don't already have lots to read and research! :)

  • Academic Journal Bundle 2.1 - Syriac journals missing

I've searched the forums and haven't found anyone address this yet. I have downloaded the Academic Journals Bundle 2.1 and completed indexing (which went very quickly, by the way. Thanks Faithlife!). I don't see the 2 Syriac-related journals. Specifically I am referencing the following journals: Hu goye: Journal of Syriac Studies 1–15, 15 vols. (1998

After much research and thoughtful consideration here are my reasons for accepting the traditional authorship for the Gospels: 1. Matthew - Ladies and Gents, he's a tax collector! Who expects good news from the IRS these days? (By the way, this in no way is to demean anyone from that august agency reading this and I'll be posting as 'anonymous' from

Lynden, I believe I found the website. This is apparently an online journal. The link is below: http://bible-translation.net/ According to the video on the main page the journal's target audience is the non-scholar using the English Bible who wants a deeper understanding of how to interpret the Bible correctly and the important issues (i.e. archaeology

  • Bible Translation Magazine - Please check it out

Bible Translation Magazine seems like a great deal. Two years worth of issues and over 3500 pages dealing with the text of the Bible and its history as well as translation matters according to the description and all that for only $17.95! Does anyone have any comments on this offering? The link is below: https://www.logos.com/product/31332/bible-translation

  • Re: Pre-PUB Word Biblical Commentary-- Whats the delay????

Speaking as a user with limited funds (preaching to the choir?) catching these at pre-pub prices is very important since: 1. WBC is an excellent value in general. 2. Once they release I probably won't be able to get them again unless as part of a payment plan in the future.

Interesting thought. Since Sartre was born and died in Paris, perhaps he was talking about his neighbors.

Agreed! I saw them and got in on the English version. I would have liked to get the version with German and English but the pocketbook is tight these days.
